Cleans well, long lasting, easy to empty and easy to clean canister
This cordless vacuum cleaner is easy to use, easy to clean, and last a long time on one battery charge( about 45- 50 minutes at low speed). The canister can be popped off and emptied into the trash and then re-attached to the vac very easily. The canister can be cleaned within a matter of a minute and then dried out and reused. This vac has three power settings that you click on the display. The middle speed is the best setting for standard cleaning and it doesn’t make much noise while cleaning. The top speed can be used, but it will cut the cleaning time to about 10-15 minutes. It takes a battery about four hours to fully charge but can be used at two hours. It is very light and cleans about the same as the older Dyson V6 I have but the battery last longer. It picks up cereal, nuts, and what ever the kids can get on the floor. It cleans rugs very well too.I recommend this machine and have been using it every day for the last month. Check the deals Amazon has on this vacuum cleaner and make sure it’s the 4500 suction model.

Great upgraded features
I love the few design upgrades that this has! I've been using these kinds of stick vacuums for a while now and this one definitely has a few features that stand out. Of course the suction power and grip and accessories are all great and I have no issues with the performance of it whatsoever. The standout features for this model are the new charging port and the new auto feature for the suction power. It detects what kind of surface you need I suppose and so you don't need to increase or decrease the power accordingly. That's convenient and I'll be experimenting that with the different surfaces I have at home. Also, the new charging port build into the wall mount is fantastic. I no longer have to insert my vacuum and then plug in the cable that's dangling from the side or on the floor somewhere, so that's definitely something to point out!

Great machine!
Wow! Very impressive little machine.Very easy to unpack and put together, comes with variety of tools which are also easy to switch to. Has extra filter and the aroma therapy pouches smell great! Very light and clean. Initial charge was about 10 mins out of box, time enough to do my 4×8 rug! Holy moly! Filled the tank. And I'd vacuumed with older upright 12 hours ago. Took 4 hours to fully charge. Was able to do 1000sqf apt without seeing charge go down. Used on auto, works like a champ going from laminate to tile to carpet. I have cats. And a part long hair BIG dog. Omg, the led lights are a game changer, i can see every hair and suck it up! And cat litter? Well it sucks it up and doesn't spit it out the back like larger uprights! No cord for me to run over! Perfect size for my arthritic hands. The rotation on the floor head is awesome! And this thing is so light and quiet! Definitely would recommend! Only thing I'd like is the led for battery charging to be placed where you can see when on its wall port.

Good replacement for Dyson, with one HUGE drawback.
I've only used this twice, so I will edit my review if something changes in the weeks to come.First of all, I bought this to replace my 8-year-old Dyson Animal, which I loved before it started to die. So far, I like it - but don't completely love it. Here's why:Pros:1. The battery seems to have a longer life than the Dyson and the LED display lets you know how much power is left.2. The suction is good, even on the lowest setting. The medium setting seems to draw better than the Dyson.3. It picks up cat hair very well.4. It stands on its own (HUGE plus)!5. The battery is easy to remove. If I keep it as my main vacuum, I will purchase an extra battery for back-up.6. The provided charging station includes attachment storage (handy).7. It's about $400 cheaper than a new Dyson.Cons:1. It is heavier than the Dyson. Not a lot, but enough to make a difference. (I'm 68, and my charging place is upstairs.)2. It is less maneuverable than the Dyson. In particular, the sucking stops about an inch inside from the outside of the vacuum head: can't do stairs or reach corners or floorboards. It is a pain to have to switch to the edging tool to really clean a room. (HUGE minus)3. It is a bit more difficult to empty the dust chamber, and the chamber is A LOT smaller than the one on the Dyson. And - you have to use a small brush (included) to clean the chamber, which does not store on the tool itself. The only real game-changer for me so far is having to use the edger every time I vacuum. The Dyson was a time-saver. This, not so much.
