Great and easy way to learn
We are in our mid 50's and never played a TCG before. This is a great way to learn. Gateway takes you from the basics and adds different gameplay concepts through four gates, each with their own quests to complete. Each gateway represents a certain card play type and the quest/goals are making plays that represent that gateway. Numbered add-on decks are added after completing each gates quest. After going through and adding all four packs you have 2 full starter decks to continue playing, modifying with other cards to make a better deck or reset the decks and let someone else learn how to play.We may not be the greatest players but we are having a lot of fun.

Good buy but a little involved
It’s very good quality and my daughter and I enjoyed it. But we don’t know a lot about TCG’s so it took awhile to get the hang of it. It’s a little involved so I had to watch a couple YouTube videos to get the hang of it. We had fun once we knew what we were doing. The quality of the pieces is really good. The designs are beautiful. It’s very creative as well. The only thing I wish I knew was that you only need one game per house - I thought it was per player. I missed the deadline to return it.

Its a nice design.
It's a very cute design. I'm not sure if my son has even opened it so I don't know how easy it is to play, but it seems like a nice gift.
