It seems to be working fine and is a good value
It seems to be working fine and is a good value. The unit didn't come with a calibration certification for the black quartz crystal standard. Where can it be sent to get one that is traceable to NIST? The instructions don't specify that it will work on metals, however the product description online says it does. Which is correct? There is a measurement counter in the lower right portion of the display. Will it max out? Is there a way to reset it?

Worth the money.
This is a good product for the price. I have compared it to a unit costing $5000 and it seems to read within about 5% of that unit on both high and low gloss surfaces.

Good product for confirming gloss in the field.
If you need a decent gloss meter with decent repeatability this is a good product.

Did exactly what we needed.

easy to use
It is easy to use however it is not very consistent and readings vary by quite a few GU so I don't know if it works at all or if is an approximate GU value not to say that I have not used it but keep that in mind when you buy it
