Challenging and beautiful
We loved doing this puzzle. The image is so fun and beautiful, and the birds are so lovable. It was challenging enough to keep us going for a few days. The puzzle quality was excellent.

A bit of a challenge!
A beautiful puzzle. Not as easy as anticipated, but I'll definitely save it to work again! Lovely colors and exceptionally study pieces.

Super fun & funky, but no poster
I had a lot of fun putting this puzzle together. It was my first New Yorker cover puzzle, and it was very fun. The colors are vivid, I like the unique and irregularly shaped pieces because it prevents false fits, and this image has fun distinct fantasy creatures...although a few are downright creepy, lol. My only critique is an odd one for me: there was no poster of the image inside the box. Normally I'm fine with using the box cover, but I had to keep picking up the lid and squatting a searching because the box cover image is smaller than the box cover itself AND the makers had the horrible idea of putting a branding/advertising message across part of the puzzle, so you can only guess what the left half of that creature looked like.

Delightfully challenging escape
Love a 500-piece puzzle, New York Puzzle Co has yet to disappoint. Enjoyed putting this together (recommend a puzzle mat and/or table). Quality materials and finish. Recyclable packaging and environmental considerations (soy-based inks, biodegradable materials, 1% for the Planet member) a plus.

A challenge
Not an easy puzzle. Although it did drive her a bit crazy at times, this was a big hit with the recipient (a long time New Yorker subscriber), and when she finished it, she felt a real sense of accomplishment.

Jigsaw puzzle lovers will like the quality and challenge of the New Yorker cover!
The puzzle was a Christmas gift for a friend who loves to do jigsaw puzzles. She was delighted with the gift and looked forward to starting the puzzle once her Christmas tree was no longer in the way of her puzzle table.
