Almost perfect, and it's worth every penny
Weenect KidsThe Weenect Kids tracker arrived well-packed and pre-charged. This made it easy to follow the instructions in the User Guide. Although it was easy enough to set up the tracker, the guide could have been more detailed. I would have liked an explanation of the four buttons and three lights in the User Guide. Instead, it points to the website and app.The website is easier to use than the app. It has more capabilities too. It can track the tracker like the app, but has more information on it. You also cannot register a tracker on the app, only on the website. The app has minimal words, and may not be easy for the user to guess what each icon or picture does. Additionally, if you go back out of a submenu, instead of taking you back to the main menu, the app just takes you back to the map. If you wanted to go from one submenu to another, you would have to exit to the map, then go into the main menu to go to the second submenu. It's more clicks and convoluted navigation than necessary. The tracker is a good size. My five-year-old daughter can hold it comfortably in her hand, and so can I. The power and SOS buttons are easy enough to identify, but there's no explanation for buttons 2 and 3 in the User Guide. I've been looking in the Support section of the app and website, but haven't found that information yet.I wanted to wait a couple days before submitting feedback so I could see how the Weenect Kids performs. I'm glad to say I'm very impressed with its accuracy. My daughter had a GPS watch that we ended up returning to the manufacturer because it kept showing her as being a 10-minute walk away from where she actually was. The Weenect Kids is accurate down to the building. The app and website also shows you which direction the tracker is relative to you.Another thing I like about the Weenect Kids is the battery icon that lets me know if it needs charging. The additional notification when the battery is low will also be useful for when I inevitably get too busy to check the app.We haven't tried the SOS feature yet but I will update this when we do.I think the only thing I would improve on the Weenect Kids is to make it easier for my daughter to wear. She doesn't always have a bag on her, and it's a bit too big and heavy to wear around her neck. Despite this, I would say the Weenect Kids is definitely worth the cost of the unit and the subscription.UPDATE: Through some testing and exploration, I've learned that button 2 and button 3 will send preset alert messages to all devices that have the app installed and are connected to the same account and tracker. Just press the appropriate button for three seconds until the tracker buzzes.

Don’t be wowed by initial impressions
Used to be great, now totally unreliable. Loved it when first bought - tested it over and over and worked really well. An upgrade was released and just upgraded itself. Wasn’t impressed as had no warning of this and tracker didn’t work during upgrade when my son had it with him. Now location is not as accurate and has caused some worries/issues. Then today during a real emergency, discovered SOS button no longer works/connects to my phone. Raised a support call and received a message back in French which I managed to translate with the help of Google. Basically the message says we’ll respond in 48 hours. Unacceptable service and totally unreliable piece of kit. Used to tell everyone I knew to buy one (and the did), now I’ll be telling people to avoid it.

Fantastic tracker to put your mind at ease!
Bought this for my son to take out with him. He is 11 and has just recently wanted to start going out with his friends (which scared me to death)! I sent for this tracker and I was not expecting it to be as good as it is! It’s awesome! Love how easy it was to set up and the app is great and easy to use as well. Love the fact he can contact me through the tracker if he needs to. The battery life on it is superb, I think on a full charge it lasts around 7 days so I don’t have to worry about it running out of charge like his mobile phone. Just a great tracker all together. Highly recommend!

Great, accurate GPS tracker
Product arrived quickly and was fully charged. Relatively easy to set up, however, the user guide it comes with is very basic and you need to log on to the website for better instructions and to register the product. The app which accompanies it, is easy to download and use. The apps features are really good, I like the fact you can set a perimeter which informs you when the child has gone beyond this. It can be set so more than person can be informed. Both myself and husband receive an email which tells us when our child has ventured beyond the set perimeter, it provides details of time and location. The battery life is good, we have accidentally left it on a couple of days and still been able to use it on day 4. The accuracy is pretty good, I like the fact you can locate the child going into the shop and then come out, it is much more accurate than other trackers I have used. The only minor criticism is the actual location address is slightly out, it shows our home address as our neighbours, however I don't feel that precise level of location is really required when trying to locate a child. The device itself is relatively small and comes with a pouch which can easily be attached to a belt or clipped to a zip or loop. The SOS feature is also great and 10 minutes a month is adequate for emergencies. Just need to remind my child it's not really for checking which bread he should be buying!Overall, this is a great device which is ideal for providing children with independence and peace of mind for the parent without the need for going down the mobile phone route. The accuracy is very good for knowing where they are with the added benefit of the SOS button if needed.

Track with peace of mind
The media could not be loaded. I’ve spent lot of money and effort experimenting trackers for my kids. Air tag, Tile and now this. I’ll tell you which one served my need. “Real time tracking”I had a apple air tag earlier for this purpose but if there is no iPhone (anyone’s iPhone) near the air tag then it can’t locate. Then I had got Tile which works altogether differently and won’t serve the purpose : we need real time tracking (not where it was 3 hours ago). This one Servers the purpose. It tracks real time. You can set up how often the real time position needs to be refreshed and it can be done as little as every 10 seconds.I like the geo-fence option. I’ve added home and school (in or out 100 meters will give alert and the distance can be customised). Check out the screenshot pic
