Approx. 24mm, what I would call medium size.

Are the bristles made of plastic? Looking for a cruelty free product that does not use animal hair like boar bristles

yes the bristles are plastic, I have bought this particular steam brush for approx 30years, I find them very useful as the press of steam helps the curl to set, you get extra bristle for different length of hair as well

Does it have different temperature?

No only one temperature. But you can use it with or without a burst of steam (the steam helps to set the curl). So effectively you do have two settings (i.e. with or without steam), rather than two different temperatures).

Can you use it on wet hair

It's not really suitable -I dry my hair then use the spray after when I am curling my hair.
