Does the set include instructions for building any of the track layouts pictured?

It has a very small book but doesn't show you how to build any.

Do Hotwheel cars fit on the tracks?

My 6-year-old granson says that hot wheels are too small for the tracks. He loves this set. The cars included in the set have batteries and run around the track on their own.
