Bolt Action Pen, Solid Brass edc Pen Six-edge Pocket Metal Tactical Pen with Refills and Clip Signature Pen for Business, Christmas, Birthday (Black)

Great pen! The bolt action feels solid, satisfying and 'chucky'. It's got a ring on top to add this to a key-chain, it's got that worn brass look to it so it feels very steampunky. It's a good size, the shape of the barrel isn't too large and has flat sides that make it easier to whole without it feeling like one of those triangle pens or crayons for children learning to write. It comes with multiple refills, which is a very normal pen refill so getting new refills or different colors or pen tip sizes is very very easy. It's got a little weight to it but it's so much or out of balance for it to feel awkward.I bought two. That's how much I like it.Now, some things to be aware of! I had an issue with some of the ink cartridges drying up and not writing smoothly. This happened with the first and second pens I bought, so I am strongly considering this my be due to my personal environment or the pen traveling with me everywhere. The other adjustment I made is the pen clip it comes with just doesn't match and does n't work very well either, so I removed it ( it just slides off either direction).I'd buy a third one if I needed three pens. It's classy, complimentary, it's durable, refillable.. It's an easy pen to recommend.

Bought these as a gift for a friend, and the second for myself, I did not think they would be such good quality! We were both amazed, happy, and impressed. Even the ink that comes with them is great. There is hardly any smudging and ink dries quickly. It has a very nice feel when writing. It’s a good weight and I can write much longer with this pen. In the end I would buy these again and again.My only complaint is that I had to Google lens the types of refills because I couldn’t find the refills that they originally came with.

Is it novelty---yes.But they write well with plenty of refills.They are heavy for their size.As far as pens go these are a little shorter than a regular pen, but not as short as some of the hard-core edc type pens that are only 4".I notice the bolt on one was a little loose after a week so I just put a little loctite on the treads and months later no issue. It does act as something to figit with and you will if it's in your hand.They look, feel, and write very good.

Let me start this review by saying that this is a nice pen. Solid built brass body, all one piece except for the tip that screws on to allow you to replace the ink cartridge. We'll crafted and writes decently for the price.That being said, as a field operator for a utility looking for a nice pen to carry and use daily...it's not the best. It comes with a very cheap removable stainless pocket clip that fits nowhere on the pen like it was intentionally supposed to be there and it fell off the first time I tried to clip the pen to my collar. For a pen with the weight of a brass body, a clip should have been a built in, integral part of the body. This leaves the random o ring built into the top of the pen as the only way for me to attach/carry without slipping it into my pocket. This means I have the pen attached to my key ring, which adds weight to my belt loop and no convenient way to detach the pen (even with the use of carabiner clips) to use while at work.Another thing to be said is that the body of the pen is straight with no real ergonomics. Add that to the holes drilled through the grip portion and you have a pen that's ultimately uncomfortable to write with.Decent pen, but I think I'm still in the market for an EDC Writing tool after purchasing this one.

Great product fast shipping

I purchased these partially for fun, but they are actually write incredibly well! Solidly built. The bolt part is a screw and it can come loose, but it's easy to tighten. I haven't lost either of them yet. Great pen, great design, amazing ink.
