I mounted this on my TRAXXAS TRX-4 with DEFENDER BODY. Initially I got it because it is metal, these bodies are top heavy so I wanted extra weight as low as possible. But to answer your question YES VERY STRONG! I mounted a twin motor winch. And can pick the car by the bumper. The approach angle is good
