READ THIS FOR GIARDIA SYMPTOMS & SafeGuard CURED OUR CATS! Thank you!!
Safe-Guard CURED OUR RESCUES OF GIARDIA ON SECOND DAY OF TREATMENT. A miracle drug. VERY pleased. No more diarrhea in the house!! No more offensive odors. No more suffering cats. READ GIARDIA SYMPTOMS BELOW:Giardia Symptoms in the Cat:Offensive-odor diarrhea, sometimes with a greenish-hue. The cats may be fecal semi-incontinent, leaving spots of diarrhea throughout the house, or on way to/from the litter box. The major symptom is the odor - you'll notice when your cats "go", that the bad odor permeates the entire indoorsSymptom Not Mentioned on Vet, Pet websites: "Squinty-eyes"- the third eyelid/membrane will be visible in corner of the cats' eyes, the eye will not be round, shining bright as per usual, giving them a tired, almost drunken look. This symptom is a dead giveaway with Giardia in felines- take note!Appetite in the cats will be good, but weight will slowly drop off.Short-coated cats will have a remarkably shiny, almost greasy-looking coat.Grogginess: Cats will sleep more than usual. Upon artificially waking by the owner, cats may not be steady on their feet, may stumble or even fall, without quickly arighting itself as a non-ill cat would. When picking up a sleeping cat, they are limp, and not easy to get "purchase" of on account of the limp limbs, sagging body. These symptoms I have just typed here, I have not found even in scholarly articles concerning Giardia in cats and the symptoms I am telling you about were the most noticeable I saw in the cats.Fenbendazole is not approved (YET!) for use in cats, hence it's off-label use- it is often used by vets for cats. I am SO thrilled we can buy this online- it is just wonderful.

Easiest wormer I have ever used - didn't make my pup sick!
I was a bit worried that the powder option wouldn't work for my pup. I thought he would smell it or taste it and refuse to eat it on his food. I was also concerned that I would have a MESS (you know what I mean if you make sure to worm your dog) for the 3 day treatment. I was wrong on every level.I simply placed my pup's food in his bowl as usual, emptied the powder for that day on top, added a little water and mixed it up. He did fine with it! I'm not sure how this would go if you free feed your dog instead of having scheduled feeding times. I would say maybe for the 3 day treatment take the food up and schedule feed for those 3 days to be sure they get their entire dose. I gave it to my boy first thing every morning in case it made him sick. I didn't want to be up all night cleaning messes. This DID NOT make him sick in any way. This was the easiest multi-wormer I have ever used. He didn't act like he didn't feel well or like he didn't have much energy. It was business as usual! This was a preventative treatment for us. I have a friend whose dog had tapeworms that my pup had recently played with so I was worried he may have gotten them. I did check his poop to be sure nothing was there. He was clean... no worms or evidence of worms.I will use this product again for all of my dogs. Make sure you do check your dog's weight before you purchase so you get the right amount for dosage. I highly recommend this product!

Use appropriately! Dosing and info here
This product must be used appropriately and does not work against all parasites. Consult with your vet- they went to vet school to be bored senseless memorizing parasite species life cycles! And get your pet's poop tested first AND after treatment! For most roundworms and hookworms you administer a dose once daily for 3 consecutive days and REPEAT in 2 weeks. We dose this in dogs rounding up to the NEAREST 10 LBS. If your dog is 10.5 lbs we are treating with 20lb dose. For whipworms you must do a course and repeat MONTHLY for THREE months to knock them out.For giardia we typically use this in combination with a higher dose of metronidazole for 14 days in a row. SOMETIMES fenbendazole alone can be used. This product is NOT my go to for tapeworms (plus you have to treat the underlying flea issue) and is NOT effective against coccidia. As a vet I see lots of animals getting reinfested, if this is occurring and you're doing all you can to keep your yard poop free, ask your vet about monthly maintenance or 'preventative' products.Do not treat without a diagnosis and do not overuse dewormers! Resistance among parasites is becoming rampant in all species!
