Perhaps I was just expecting too much - especially for the low price - but I find this item really cheap and tacky looking. I'm honestly surprised it gets such positive reviews. The color is more greenish than the brownish tone shown in the photos and I don't like the glossy finish - I might try to paint it. I'm hesitant to even give it 2 stars.- UPDATE: So I was honestly quite unhappy with this when it arrived as evident by the review above. It wasn't the design I disliked (I actually love the pose) it was the pea-soup greenish paint and the glossy finish that I felt made it look so cheap.So I decided to go ahead and painted it. I added a thin (watered down about 50%) layer of brown acrylic craft paint over the entire statue. The paint gave it a more mat finish which I much prefer - and the brown color takes away the ill-looking green hue from the figure. I am SO much happier with it now!
