Pretty slick setup.
I've used the original "long top" LPA revolver sights for years on competition guns and hunting guns without issue, and really like them. I bought this one to try mounting a dot obviously. I like the redundancy with this system should something go wrong with the dot mid trip, it can be pulled off and you're ready to keep going.The only reason I didn't give it five stars is well, they sure aren't cheap.

nicely made but doesn't fit anything
I'd bought this for my smith and Wesson 629 with the Idea of mounting an RMR with a low 1913 mount. That didn't come close to mounting, there isn't enough rail space. well I tried several mouting and sight options and so far none of them will interface with the rail as it is set up. they need to have about double the length of rail to have a large enough footprint for any mounts I've tried thus far
