Great balance for speed and control
TLDR: Fantastic cloth pad for speed with a good amount of control.Pros:- Fantastic quality- Won't slide around- Ships flat- Very nicely stitched edges- Great surface for speed and controlCons:- PriceThoughts:So I bought this pad June last year I think, put it on my desk for about an hour before switching back to my Zero. I decided to keep it because I tend to keep some things I try, even if I don't initially like them but may want to give them a shot later. Fast forward to now. This is now my favorite cloth mousepad. I really wanted to get used to a glass pad for the speed, but I was inconsistent on it, even with a sleeve. Depending on the temperature, some days that felt a little colder, my aim was kinda shakey. Sometimes I did well, but I seemed to always overshoot my targets. Also, something I could never get over was getting a little piece of dust under the skates gave that awful grinding sensation. That was the huge kicker for me. So I thought I'd go back to my zero, but something that never felt great on that was tracking. I knew I really wanted SOME control, but needed the speed to consistently track. Dug up this bad boy, slapped it down, and it turns out that I was sitting on my perfect cloth pad this whole time. To the touch, it has that kind of "speed" surface feel where it feels sort of rough to your fingertips (not at all on the skates tho). The "grit" feeling is more fine on this pad however, so it's not uncomfortable to my hand or arm at all. I'm just trying to get the point across that it has that sort of "speed" pad surface. Anyway, it's also got great control while keeping very, very low static friction. Not so low that it feels like I'm making an effort to stop, like on a glass pad. It's great for making fine adjustments, and long tracking movements are so smooth. I would say that the balance is more towards speed, but having that little bit of control goes a very long way. On top of all that, there's no drawbacks of a glass pad like eating away at my skates super fast, that horrible dust grindy thing I was talking about, or needing to use a sleeve. The only downside to this pad is definitely the price. Having just looked at the listing, $80+ is a lot for a cloth mouse pad, buuuut these artisan pads are very high quality. I've had my zero the longest, and it's easily my most used mousepad, and it's still in perfect condition. Occasionally, I just have to give it a wipe down with a microfiber cloth and it's all good. Of all the pads I've used, these also seem to suffer the least from the faded spot that forms from sweat that feels like you're pushing the mouse through mud. It will still form, but it's not as hard to play through, and I find that I'm able to gently scratch at the affected spots with my fingernails, and just wipe away the grime that gets brought up.Conclusion:I highly recommend this pad if you're looking for a comfortable fast cloth pad with a good bit of control. The artisan pads are pricey, but they are very high quality and seem to last.

Consistent, Speed and Control
The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical getting a fast mousepad thinking I would lose accuracy with my flicks and control. I mainly play warzone and overwatch where speed and tracking are necessary hence why I decided to go for mid. And all I can say is I’m not going back.I thought I was garbage at tracking but this unlocked my full potential and made me feel like a pro after realizing what I just did. The pad itself is the perfect balance of fast glide while still getting that “soft” feeling. Contrary to expectations, mid actually made my shots more accurate probably because micro adjustments are easy to do when you’re not feeling much drag. This is especially good when you get tense and push hard on your mouse during competitive gaming.Definitely would get this again.

One of the Best Mousepads....
Had it for less than a week and ive easily adapted to its rough surface. I realized that the surface is consistant through out the whole pad allowing percison and precise movement. I can not reccommend this mouse pad enough for those who are looking for more than just a Gaming mouse pad.

Best mousepad you'll ever use, just buy it somewhere else
I ordered the mid hardness in XL and have been using it daily for a few months now. The pad is still in perfect condition and only needs some wipe downs a few times a week. It's the absolute perfect pad for gaming, whether you play tac shooters like CS:GO or Valorant, tracking heavy games like Apex, and everything in between. Couldn't recommend a better pad, but the price is absurdly high on Amazon. If you're looking to buy this or any other artisan pad, get one off of the official artisanjp website or look for a local vendor that carries them such as LethalGamingGear or MaxGaming. Ordering one from Japan and paying the high shipping costs is still a lot cheaper than what you'd be paying buying this off Amazon. You'd be paying an insane markup for faster shipping times.

best mousepad on the market for a reason
gives you full control of your mouse, bottom grips of mousepad makes it so it doesn't move around unless you lift it, steep price for a mousepad but its for a good reason, these are quality as it gets

My favorite pad
I was unsure about getting the mid pad, but after I got it I love it so much, it’s fast but still has good control, I use it with my g pro superlight, with tiger ice feet, and it glides incredibly. It seems durable but time will tell, at the moment I love it. It’s pricey but if you were to order it from the original website, for the xl it would be like $73 with shipping, so I didn’t mind paying a little extra for convince, easily my favorite pad I’ve owned.
