Q: How do you play mp3 music on usb stick plugged into Stage V2 2.1

You can't. The USB input doesnt support MP3s on a stick like the first one did. The USB socket is a computer audio connect and hidden at the back with the other inputs so it would be inaccessible for a stick. A backwards step to remove a function like that.

Q: What's the surround sound mode like and the remote?

It’s ‘okay’ - it’s not 5.1 - it’s an improvement for gaming against it not being on - remote is simple and IR rather than rf

Hi there, you will need HDMI ARC for this to worknvia HDMI. Without Optical or ARC you can use AUX.

Q: Does anybody have an LG tv and have this connected through hdmi arc?

As with most brands of TV, you'll need to fully enable HDMI-CEC as it's often turned off by default to prevent any issues.
