Q: Re: the "one way" term...If you put your eye up to the viewer, can people outside notice it? Any peep hole only allows you to look through it one way

If it is dark outside the door, and light inside, you'll be able to tell from outside that something is moving inside - and when your eye occludes the light completely they'll know you're looking out. (This is when the bad guy shoots you through the door in horror movies.)So, if you've got the kind of life where you don't want people to know when you peep through... get one that has a little panel that hangs in front of the inside and blocks the light. That way, when you put you eye against the door and ever so quietly slide the hanging panel out of the way, they won't be able to tell the difference between the panel blocking the light or your eye blocking the light...Or, you could move away from sketchyville. :)

Q: When I select "Aged Bronze" the color shown in the picture does not look even close to Aged Bronze...is this just a photo error or actual color?

Its the wrong color in the photo. The item I received was actually aged bronze, not silver/nickel as pictured.

Q: What is the diameter of the hole you need to drill in the door?

I used a 1/2" bit. Worked fine.
