Good all rounder, not just for TE. Some fragility.
The best for interfacing with Teenage Engineering products like the OPZ, but also brilliant for general online and telephone calls due to the compatability, light weight, comfort and audio quality (both send and return). Its a shame 3.5mm jacks and being fazed out. Sits well on the ear, offers good sound quality for music too and responds well to EQ adjustments. Unfortunately it doesnt offer a good seal like with most on ear headphones, so is less suitable for noisy environments or travel and you should look at full over ear in this use case. I will also note the folding arms are liable to break and TE does not offer replacement earcups, although similar sized alternatives are available that will fit.

Works well, feels great on the ear. Sounds perfect
Perfection. Super comfortable. Works well with a MacBook Pro. Has two sets of mics both attachable and in ear.

Not for serious user...
lightweight, good for casual listening, the jacks position for line in or out are too narrow, very difficult to access. no fine details,,,, not suitable for serious user!

Awesome
High quality sound, build, materials used, super comfortable and plug and play! Not sure about compatibility with Amps. Great size and super portable, build quality amazing in my opinion, do seem flimsy since they have plastic hinges which is the only plastic thing on these headphones, would like to see a metal hinge in an updated version in the future, and look absolutely stunning!!

Great connectivity let down by hot earcups and too much bass
I bought these specifically because of the removable cable and microphone that can be connected to either side of the headphones - this is a great feature I would love to see on other headsets. I intended to use them as headphones for an Oculus Quest 2, though unfortunately they don't work well in that scenario (no fault of the headphones, they just don't agree with the Elite strap, like essentially all headphones - buy Sennheiser HD25 if that is what you want to do).In normal use, they are quite comfortable initially, but after a while the earcups get too hot compared with other on-ear headphones I've used. Additionally, the headphones are overly bassy out of the box with not a lot of treble. This was easily fixed with some basic EQ-ing, but worth thinking about if your source won't allow that. The detachable mic and cable that can be attached in either configuration is the stand out feature here, and it may be that due to that they're perfect for your application. It is implemented well and I wish more headphones had this, additionally the microphone is good quality relative to its size.

Really good product
Keeps out of the way and superlight. Can change mice side and perfect for zoom or skype etc on a macbook pro. Take the mic off while transporting.

They sound like a bag of dung
I’d like to be able to say my late mother always used to say ‘if you’re going to be critical, at least start off with something nice’, but my late mother was the sort of person who would start off with all the negatives, then find some more arbitrary negatives to point out just for the hell of it, and if she had anything nice to say she’d probably have forgotten about it.So it’s in that spirit that what I learned from my late mother was if you’re going to be critical, at least start off with something nice. They look cool and minimalist.Right, so that over and done with, if you’re looking for some decent headphones to use with your £1,400 OP-1, then having dropped £1,400 on an OP-1 you might as well splash a bit more on your cans than the £55 these come out at.Other low-star reviewers here are remarking about them being ‘a bit bassy’ or ‘not much treble’. I think they’re being kind. If you were to plot the frequency response curve of this headset, it would look more like the London skyline than the Norfolk plains — it’s literally all over the shop, you’d probably get a more accurate reproduction of the music licking your finger and poking it in the jack socket than from these headphones. I’ve had emergency headphones from Poundland that sounded better than these. All that said……I didn’t buy this headset to use for listening to music with, I’ve got a pair of AKG K702 reference headphones for that. I bought it because I wanted something that looked cool and minimalist to use when I do Zoom and Teams meetings, and for the sake of £55, they fulfil that function, and the removable / swappable bendy mic is a bonus. So whilst my first instinct was to give them 1 star because of how bad they are as headphones, I’ve decided to be nice and give them an extra star just cos I’ll look cool on screen.Oh yeah, they don’t even come with a £2 carrying pouch. If you’re going to travel with them, you’ll need to get your own £2 carrying pouch from Poundland.

Trendy
Was looking for a headset for my laptop that looked a bit different and so got this (also have an op-z).Sound is really great both on the headset and mic and it's pretty good at not picking up too much background noise.
