the noise cancelling doesn't block out all the noise but it takes away the static noise like a printer etc
I'm not sure what the other reviewers are complaining about. I've purchased several of these for our office. The sound quality is crystal clear, the noise cancelling doesn't block out all the noise but it takes away the static noise like a printer etc. Exactly what you'd want in an office setting. I've purchased at least 5 other headsets including wireless plantronics trying to find the right one. Nothing matches the audio or voice quality of this headset. Also we I operate the call center for the business and you need a corded headset when you're on the phone for 6+ hrs per day.

No cell phone audio jack
Great sound quality. However, I was disappointed that it only comes with a usb cable. I would have iked to also have had a cell phone audio jack to use with an iPhone etc.

Quality sound for call center employees.
Great product. Pricey but all my agents like it better than the $30 Logitech.

Good noise canceling, poor ergonomics
While the noise canceling and overall quality are good, I find this headset clearly lacking in ergonomics. The band is adjustable but is small and does not remain at the desired size (too little friction in the adjustment brackets), and the headset doesn't remain in place on the head as the band is too rounded, not providing the adequate stability (it easily falls forward if I lean my head too much).I found this particularly disappointing as this 'premium' headset falls short in some areas where cheaper Plantronics units (such as thePlantronics Audio 478) excel.

Poor fit, good sound quality
Coming from two DSP400 models, the older of which was a good fit the newer an average fit, this ranks at the bottom as far as fit. The arms do not extend low enough for the ear pads to cover ears without the top bar pressing into the top of head. Not very comfortable at all, hoping it improves after a few days of use. Sound quality is good but with a distinct digital sound which is most likely the ANR kicking in, even in a quiet setting. As someone else pointed out, the mic is always hot even when not on a call - this is poor software design. All in all, it's a decent headset that has plenty of room for improvement. I'm not sure there is anything else out there better at the moment unfortunately.
