A SUPERB AERIAL 😊
Been using this aerial for about 3 weeksSuperb !Costly but certainly does what it says it will doViewed reviews on line and explanations of its constructionWell worth a lookSpeed-test it regularly (ookla)Generally 17-13. 20-14 . 22-15. 29-21. As examples ( down -up)Always constantly 4 or of 5 bars on o2 network and linked to Netgear Nighthawk.I’m in a notorious bad o2 signal area but VERY pleased with this Poynting aerialEasy to set up ( it’s directional)Superb streamingIt’s only down side will be it’s priceyHowever in this case you do get what you are paying forHave tried at least 3 other “cheaper “ aerials absolutely no comparisonIf you want a reliable signal and constant do go for the Poynting xpol 2-5gHighly recommendMalc P

Great Product
I needed this to use with our M1 Netgear Nighhawk 4G router in a rural area with only a 1 bar signal from a certain direction. The fact that it comes 5G ready was more for future proofing, but I may test it soon as we are supposed to have a weak outdoor 5G signal. Our house of 4 adults/older kids still doesn't have fibre so this was to make our unlimited mobile wifi, our main broadband solution.I ended up locating the product inside our loft above our bedroom bay windows where there are no tiles. The signal now comes through with 4 bars and averages about 30mbps up and 20mbps down (with a max to date of 54mbps up). Previously with a cheap antenna downstairs I was getting about 15-20mbps up and 7mbps down.

Pay for the best, I guess
It's quite expensive when you can get a pair of aerials for a tenner which may give you almost the same effect, so watch out. In my case I am happy I spent the money, it got me from a shaky 10-13Mb per sec to a pretty reliable 15-25Mb per sec which makes a huge difference. Also by a wired quirk I found the signal at my house was strongest at ground level where the ability to mount it on the roof was of no value. For most people I would guess roof mounting would be best, in which case a couple of cheap aerials are unlikely to do the job.

Wow! What a difference!
My holiday home is in a remote location a fair distance from the EE mast and although I could lock my router to a 5g signal and get 20-30meg download, with only 1 bar of signal I frequently lost connection in poor weather conditions.Despite the price I thought this was worth a punt as the reviews were favourable and I wasn’t disappointed. I downloaded a mobile mast location app on my phone so it made installation easy as I was able to roughly point in the direction of the nearest EE mast and ran the cable into the property and connected to my router.Despite no fine tuning at all, I am pleased to see a vast increase in 5G speeds of between 200-300meg although the upload increases are more modest this is truly magnificent and ensures we can stream 4k TV and the kids can play on their devices too without any issues at all.The item is bigger than I was expecting and to anyone having issues I certainly recommend the following:1. Download an app to get the locations of your local mobile masts as this is a directional antenna and needs to be pointed towards the mast.2. Don’t forget to check your router settings too as mine had to be manually set to use the external antenna.3. Don’t forget you’ll also need a mounting pole although the clips, screws and plate are all included in the box.

Looks ok, but it didn't cover some bands i needed.
I got this to increase my signal strength on the three network. Going from the routers own aerial to using this say a small gain of around 20% - Further investigation shows this does support band 32 (1400Mhz) which three are using in my area - I think vodafone use this also. There is 2 different models of this arial. V2 and V3 - The one i got was V3, which will support more 5g frequency's but less on the 4g.I think this is a good product so will be searching for the v2 model of this aerial.

Totally not worth the money imo.
Total waste of money!! Did not increase my internet speed from my current antena, which was less than a quarter of the price of this. If anything even made my speed more unstable. would return if I could

Worked a treat
We struggled for a couple of years to try and get some decent Internet in our rural area in Cheshire. After trying many different approaches we decided to go for an aerial at the highest point that was suitable. We added to this a TP link router and a Smarty data Sim and we now get on average 40 MB throughout the house using a Google Mesh system. This has been a revelation and has changed our viewing as we can now stream without problem and have no issues now getting access to the Internet.
