If you are frustrated with slow reading and poor retention, become more productive, almost instantly with the BuzzRead Method
Debbie Drum explains and teaches the "BuzzRead" method that is specifically for electronic books or e-Readers like a Kindle device and other digital gadgets such as your smartphone, tablet, and even your desktop, or laptop computer, but, you can also use the BuzzRead method to learn to read physical/ traditional books better and faster also.Bravely, Drum, upfront, guarantees results, promising you that you will learn to read better and faster with her BuzzRead Method. But, I caution you, this book is not magic even though Drum guarantees results. Learning to read better and faster takes a commitment to practice these skills daily to see substantial results. Honestly, I have already seen an increase in my reading, and I just finished reading the book. So, wow! I can’t wait to see my improvement after 30 days. You may have already taken a speed reading course, like I did, years ago, and that is fine, but the BuzzRead method is different, and I think better. With this method, you read every word and you do not skip chunks of text, but after you learn this skill you can add “skimming” to your reading which is beneficial. You will be learning a new skill, so you need to take your time and let each chapter-by-chapter soak in.I was glad when Drum, not only showed how to read faster, but how to better remember and retain the new information that you will be reading faster, in the future. If you can't understand, remember, and can't recall what you have read - why read it faster. If you have been forgetting information as fast as you read it, you can relax and be assured Drum will show you how to make the information you read, stick. She even gives a bonus technique in how to better remember others person’s names.Drum is up front and says, "Obviously, The BuzzRead Method is a new-age method to read faster. It doesn’t apply to physical books the way other speed-reading methods do. However, if you have a physical copy of your book or a printout copy, you can always implement the BuzzRead Method, and set up your mobile device or desktop computer and follow along with your physical copy. For this you will need a digital copy as well as the physical copy of the book." And you will be glad to know, that Drum will show you how you can own your very own Kindle Reader that you can install on your personal computer or laptop, compliments of Amazon.Consistently creative and clever, in this book, as in other books and products I’ve purchased by Drum, she always gives you different options to tackle a problem. And thankfully she is also a big fan of free and easy methods and resources. And, she is also sensitive to the technological challenged. One thing I like about this book, is that Drum gives you value in the specific topic at hand, but she also recommends other helpful tools and resources that compliments this book, such as: How to find your Kindle email that you can use to send material from your computer to your Kindle Reader, how to skim read, take smarter notes, retention tricks, how to remember names, how to recall what you read, and the benefits of other reading methods and how to use a sample of other reading devices. It is amazing the tools that are already available to us - right on our own devices such as our iPhone and computer. Ignorance is not bliss, ignorance is a stumbling block to those who want to achieve and be more productive and efficient in all they do personally and professionally. Drum, thank you for enlightening us to reading better and faster.

Easy to follow
Debbie's writing is easy to follow and a pleasure to read. Two things, however.I read the book on my Kindle Paperwhite. At the end of the chapters there are recaps. Or so I assume. I couldn't read them, as the lettering was too small. Even blowing up the font had no effect on the recaps. And because I read the bulk of my books on the Paperwhite this specific technique isn't suitable for me.However, I am I intrigued enough to want to try it out and I will set it up for my Android phone.

Great technique that works very well for me
This solid, thorough book presents the Buzz Reading technique. Debbie Drum who’s also a software developer, and a product creator, has the unique talent to explain the matter in an entertaining, clear, and easy to understand manner. Her method is for dedicated people who want to learn to read faster, and are not afraid of making some effort. I guess it’s a must for students and anyone who consumes lots of text, especially on digital devices (but it’s also usable for a physical copy).I’m a relatively quick reader already, but what makes Debbie’s method extra valuable for me is that I can retain the information much better.I love her approach of combining the visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning modes, and I found the additional benefits of the Buzz Reading Method very interesting. The book also offers many helpful tools and resources.

A LIE
Zero impressed. Put some disclaimers on your book so people know what they are buying. Her trick is having your device read the text u are interested in covering? Not helpful if you are reading a real book. She encourages u not to skip ahead to the chapter on her “Buzzread” method. Why? Cuz the reality of what she is doing is embarassing. This all just felt like a game. 20 dollars for this? This is a total hustle. She includes a few strategies on memory, associating and visualizing, but you could do better somewhere else. The book reads like she made some mind blow of a discovery. What are Debbie’s actual credentials? I suspect she is a pleb. I feel embarassed I bought this book. I should have had a more critical look at the reviews. Buy a real book by a real expert that is not vomitting up others superficial insight on memory. This is justa money making scheme. I would return the book if i had not underlined it. Thanks Debbie. Excellent con.

It works
The method works, but as others have stated it is more of an assistant helping you read on your electronic device. Yes there is good Information and in the right context it will be very useful but if you want an all encompassing technique to read print books or electronically faster, this isn't it.

This method maybe not be suitable for everyone.
In short description, this method is combining reading and using voice tools that will read you book also at the same time. There are tools listed in the book for iOs devices, android devices, computers. So, the method is called “The BuzzRead Method” and Debbie has stated that outcome of this book will be: booksEliminate sub-vocalizationStrengthen your eye muscleRetain and comprehend moreBecome smarter and more knowledgeableEnjoy reading moreThis method, in my personal opinion is only good when the natural voice is possible to use in book when reading it. That robot voice I don’t like, and it’s getting on my nerves.I did find it helpful to resolve my sub-vocalization issue, which I wasn’t even realized that it’s an issue from the start.Would I recommend this book? Yes, of course. You can read my full review of this book on my blog: imeducatingmyself.com/read-better-faster-how-to-triple-your-reading-speed-and-comprehension-without-speed-reading-skimming-or-skipping-debbie-drum-book-review Read more

Interesting Concept
This is a good system that definitely increases your reading speed. I intend to use it in the future to get through more books.

It wasn't what I expected
I should give you a spoilerless warning...2/3 of the book feels like an autobiography, of course, there are some things that anyone can learn and use, but the "big revelation of this book" wasn't my thing. It was pretty worthless for me, this method will not work for me in particular. But, give it a chance, there's always something to learn.

Dont waste your money
Waste of time and money.Don't buy this book unless you have Apple product.Through Android it is bit tougher to follow and adopt this method.

Very interesting and it works!
Sounds like something so simple and not worthy of a book, but how many people would have actually thought of this. I used the buzz read method on half of this book and was surprised how quickly I got through it and understood it. Good work - thinking outside the box!
