This is my 2nd unit...........the first work really well for a year and a half until all the sudden the receiver quit sounding off. After contact with Hosmart, they immateriality agreed to replace with an upgraded model at no cost. They were very easy to work with and wanted to be sure I was satisfied - I was. Got the replacement unit yesterday - lot nicer unit, easy to assemble and install. Up and running again with a solid driveway alarm system. It supports up to 4 separate units and I'm considering adding 1 or 2 units at different parts of our property. (you get different alert sounds from each unit) If you are looking for a solid easy to operate outside alarm system that is inexpensive - strong recommend you consider this system.

I have had this for over 5 years now and it’s still working great. The end of my driveway is probably 40 yards from the base. I turned the sensitivity down but it still goes off intermittently assuming from small animals.

This device worked great for one month, then stopped working. At that point, it would either not work at all, or would give constant non-stop alerts. I tried fresh batteries, although the batteries are supposed to last for a year, but fresh batteries did not help. I can't return the device to Amazon because it failed within a week after the return window closed. I tried to contact the seller/manufacturer, but no luck there, either. The seller's website is written completely in Chinese. I did find a link to send an email to tech support, but it requires your name, email, phone number of ORDER NUMBER. You can't use the Amazon order number - you have to use their order number. Since I bought the device from Amazon, I don't have their order number. And without it, you cannot send the message to Tech Support.

This alarm is doing a great job, it did take some adjusting to get the area of coverage exactly where I needed it, I mounted the transmitter on a piece of wood and attached it to a 20 inch piece of round chain link fence pipe I had laying around. At first the sensor was picking up vehicle traffic on the street about 30 feet away which was annoying and not something I wanted to detect. I kept turning the transmitter very slightly away from the street to get more of my driveway. The transmitter is now working great, just picks up a vehicle on the street once in a while for some reason. It does get vehicles coming into and out of the drive and also anyone walking through the 14ft. gate. I have the receiver inside my home which is about 250ft from the transmitter and it works perfectly. I am very pleased with this item and would purchase this product again and I am planning in the future on purchasing some more transmitters to place around the back of my home.

My husband and I love our monitor! We have a driveway that is 600 feet long, so using a device at the door does not do us much good security wise and being so far from the road. Sometimes we would not know that someone came down our driveway. We installed this at the end of our driveway and it works fantastic and gives us a heads-up that someone is coming which is what we wanted. We did not want to worry about subscription fees or anything more technical. Can’t believe the range this monitor has and our indoor alarm is loud and clear. It was very easy to set up and we are extremely happy with our purchase.

bought this in July 2025 been working fine until two weeks ago. The range of the sensor dropped from 15 feet to 3 feet and I cannot get it to read a car on the driveway. checked batteries checked the eye to make sure it was clean tried different angles but nothing worked. I have emailed the company for troubleshooting advice but have not received any response
