I love the meter. I have a long one and a shorter one. This has saved me from otherwise overwatering and killing my plants. I wanted to write this review to not only talk about the product but also the customer service. I emailed them about one of my meters not working and they promptly responded and after providing the order number of the meter, they replaced it free of charge. They were so nice in our emails and provided a new product to replace the one that had broken. I see reviews about some stating theirs had broken, always reach out to manufacturers before leaving negative feedback. Things happen but this company went above and beyond. Don’t hesitate to purchase this product.

I misplaced mine but I like this one better, with a little longer probe. Maybe most people who think they have black thumbs could do a great job using this- just have to find out what type of moisture a plant needs (moist, dry, etc) and check this every week until you discover the length of time between waterings. Also great for outdoor summer annuals and vegetable beds, including raised beds. Every person who dips their fingers into soil should have this, a bargain!

Works perfectly for checking level of moisture on cactus plants. Do not want to overwater them.

Great quality at a reasonable price

It's simple, it works, and it's a handy tool for gardening. It helps avoid over-watering and promotes healthy plants. We use it on indoor potted plants, but I assume it would work outdoors as well.

Works well as long as you handle it well. If you leave it inserted in the pot it will get ruined. The tip fell off in mine when I left it in the pot for a week.
