LOVE MY PURCHASE OF THIS HARLEY WILD CHILD MOTORCYCLE!!!!
Before purchasing this, Lil' Rider Harley, for my youngest Grand Baby that's turning 2 yrs. old Sept. 9, I have been researching, comparing & reading reviews, on every web site that had it, for at LEAST the last 9 months. We wanted him to have it to ride during the summer, & YES, WE couldn't wait for his birthday because he LOVES his Papa's Harley & has been fascinated in ALL Motorcycles & finds dirt bike races on Papa's phone & can watch them over & over!! That's why we HAD to get him a Powered Motorcycle. But by the Reviews of people saying it was JUNK, the battery only lasted 2 min.'s, 20 min.'s or 30 min.'s & would have to sit on the charger for 24 hr.'s...Etc.! They said it would barley, if at ALL, would go on the grass because it logs down so bad! Just WAY MORE bad reviews then good! SOME, yes, were petty to which I ignored. I compared the prices and what the difference in $194.00 one was to a $95.00 one, which was nothing, some a few inches longer, some had a horn noise or music instead of the Motorcycle sounds. SINCE it's gotten so close to his birthday that I ordered this one due to the price & it DID have the best reviews then most! I figured, my luck, my Grand Baby would at least have a Motorcycle to climb on! But it arrived in just a few days, WASN'T that hard to put together! It EVEN hard charge in the battery, that if he was here, he could of road it right away!! But we had him the next day & we just HAD to give it to him before we even finished putting on the stickers & chrome mirrors. The speed of it is WAY FAST enough for him!! Almost too fast, but not so bad that we can't catch him.lol He has a Powered Thomas The Train & it's a little faster then it, so he's getting used to it. The pictures of him on it do not do it justice! In person it's shiny, the plastic parts look like metal, so it DOES NOT LOOK LIKE JUNK, NOR IS IT!! I fell in love with it before we even put the mirrors or stickers on it!! Sure, it took time to put it together, but WHAT DOESNT! It was missing a Nut for that holds on the front end, which was NO problem, we have all kinds in our garage, which it's a pretty common size, so most people WOULD have one, so that was no big deal. The headlights & sounds use AA batteries, so people who say they bike has less battery power the more they were used are WRONG, since they aren't powered off the main battery. One button turns the middle headlight on, left button turns the left red blinker light to flash & the right one for the right side. The other 2 buttons make the motorcycle sound & some music. Oh, when the headlight is turned on it says "Headlight on"!lol The buttons to turn it on & the Forward, Stop & Reverse button are all on the tank so they're easy for him to use. He's 23 months old, 39 lbs., so he has growing room, but when we put his shoes on, he has no trouble pushing the gas. He's quit the climber so he has NO PROBLEM getting on & off of it. Although, we do help him & stay close when we are in the driveway on the cement incase he slips, because he won't wear his helmet.ha That's ok for now, but when he gets used to it & driving it full throttle, he's going to need his helmet. He's an above average child so he can figure out things very fast! He was a little leery at first, but we think he thought it was going to b loud like Papa's Harley.lol I didn't even have it on the charger for 24 hr.'s when he came over and spent the night and played with it all night long AND till around 6 the next day! Although he didn't RIDE it the whole time, he would push the foot pedal button to make it go & try to run beside it!LOL!!! We have had it for about 2 weeks now and I'm STILL in SO excited that it's NOT JUNK, I LOVE IT!! His Momma & Daddy even said it looked REALLY NICE! We all still laugh at him just driving his Harley around the living room, dining room, kitchen, the back patio, front driveway & yard. He's learning how to turn and to take his foot off to stop before running into stuff, but yes, he ran into the wall & the coffee table & hit pretty hard, but still didn't break the bike!! He's still learning to push the button to go backwards when he runs into stuff or gets stuck, but he's figuring it out!! I purchased another battery, due to the reviews that said the batteries don't last, nut I will probably be sending it back since, so far this battery is GREAT!! I've NEVER purchased ANY powdered toy that already had charge on it & this isn't my 1st Motorized Child's Riding toy. And yes, I HAVE had a few that were junk, so I'm SO AMAZED at how GREAT this one is!! It's SO WORTH the money!!! Buying them while they are 2 yr.'s old is the perfect age & weight & will be able to play with it for, maybe 3 yr.'s!! I wouldn't purchase it for a 6 or 7 yr. old, UNLESS, they are smaller then most their age. I say that because my Daughter (our Grand Babies Momma that we bought it for) was VERY tiny at 6,7,8 (still is) and weighted less then her baby at 23 months, so she could have rode this motorcycle at 6,7,8!! I can't say enough good things about this Lil' Rider Harley Style Wild Child Motorcycle!! AND I'm quit the Negative Nancy!!lol!! As soon as we got it & were blown away at how amazing it was, I told my Husband I just HAD to write a review!! Not saying SOME people might have got bad batteries, broken parts, missing big parts that took for ever to get, but when your reading reviews, look at the date, if it was 3 yrs. ago, the company probably fixed that issue by now! OR you have to think, did this person leave the "on" button on when charging, so of COURSE it won't hold a charge! OR if the compliant is petty & you can clearly see common sense was missing, you need to ignore those reviews!! Also the Road Warrior, Wild Child & 1 other one are mainly all the same Motorcycles, just different stickers. Some have different sounds is pretty much all I seen was different. AND I'm sure the company you purchase your Motorcycle from makes a big difference! I've never had crushed packages from Amazon and they are ALWAYS QUICK getting our purchases to us!! So that could make a big difference!! All I know is I'm STILL SO EXCITED I bought this Motorcycle!! Seeing our Grand Babies face when Papa brought it in the living room was priceless!! He LOVES HIS "BACCA" (Motorcycle)!!LOL!!! He says "BACCA LIKE PAPA's" I say "YES IT IS!!" He says "PAPA's BACCA LOUD!" I say "YES, but Babies isn't loud like Papa's" He says "No". As soon as he comes over he yells "PAPA, NENE, BACCAAAAAAA!!" LOL!!! So much FUN!!

Bad motorcycle
I bought it for my son, after 2 months the motorcycle doesn't work, he hasn't ridden it that much and it no longer works (he tries to turn it on and it doesn't turn on)

Be a tinker with it
After assembling this with a little screwdriver, I was about to give up on it working. The provided instructions don't help much but the video on Amazon fills in all the blanks. While some of the parts, specifically the screws for the mirrors, did not align properly and were not able to be tightly secured, everything else is easy peasy. The wiring was pre-set so I was confused on what I needed to assemble, the charger does not provide indication that anything is happening so if the bike doesn't work after assembly, the assumption is to wait overnight or for 24 hours, however, my husband came home from work, poked at the wires for a bit, and I mean "poked", because he didn't do anything more from what I already assembled. Then after 5 or so minutes of poking, the bike that I was about to send back, started working without an overnight charge.Long of short: be patient, jiggle the wires a bit. My 2 1/2 year old who is 30" tall loves it. It's faster than what some of the other comments mentioned, we took it outside in a parking lot and it rode fine over all the pot holes and I'm happy with this purchase. We didn't use all of the stickers and that's alright. This is a cute product, it would be more efficient if the charger had a light to indicate that power was connected.

Love it
Got this for my nephews 5th birthday 2 months ago . Rides inside or outside. Not the best on gravel. Can pop a wheelie

Not the Best Quality
The only complaint I have is that I wish it went faster then it does. My son is a speed demon and it is just not fast enough for him. It is also important to note that the bike has to be in neutral and "off" or else it will not charge. It was easy to put together and has held up well six month later with almost daily use.

Wild Child
Let's start with,"WOW!" I love these motorcycles. We received our order fast and on time. I bought three: one for my two grandsons and one for my great great nephew. They love them. The speed is not fast which is a good thing. We can walk beside them as they ride. We're no spring chickens so we need them to go slow. We bought the helmets and motorcycle jackets so they can be official riders. Note: This is a 6-volt ride on toy so don't over charge the battery. The assembly wasn't too bad. We put three together in no time. Less than two hours with breaks. This is their intro motorcycles. I am so happy they love them. Time will tell how long the motorcycles will stand up to 3 boys. Note: check the battery connection if the bike stops working. Kids are rough and believe it or not the connection can come off. We only know this because we've bought ride on toys like this in the past.
