I thought my week was ruined when the flip lever for my side of our reclining couch ripped loose from it's cable. On disassembly I found the little swaged on end at the handle had torn off. No way to rig it out of my vast array of garage stuff, so I got on line and searched. Amazon had two that looked identical to mine, which amazed and delighted me, but I was cautious to not over-elate due to years of disappointments thinking I'd found easy solutions. I installed a vice grip on the frayed end cable hanging out the side of the sofa much to my wife's dismay, and the new part arrived in two days and fit exactly like it was made for my couch! It was easy enough to install and now my pliers are safely back in my rollaway where she won't throw them away (I'm sure she would have if she could have figured out how to get them off her sofa).

The handles are metal vs plastic that was on the sofa. Shipped on time, works perfectly and easy to install.

Fits great only breaks easily

The product is exactly what I needed, but there were no directions on installation (probably because recliners differ, but there could have been some basic instructions). If you have small hands its probably a lot easier. But the quality of the product is great and it appears to be constructed as well as the original. I can once again recline on my couch.
