Superb
I can only give a first impression of this Daily Missal because it arrived late on Saturday, and the first daily Mass I’ve followed in it was today’s Monday Mass of the 14th Week in ordinary time. The appearance of the product is attractive . It seems like a real bargain because it’s a hardback copy of the daily Missal and I’m sure that I paid more than the £25 it cost for a soft cover edition in 2001. This is a welcome update of that version because it now obviously contains the most recent versions of prayers like the Confiteor, the Gloria and the Creed as well as the ‘lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof’ prayer. It doesn’t appear to have the daily collect for each Mass but the important stuff is there, the first readings (and second readings where appropriate) as well as the Gospel for each day. All in all I consider that I have received a five star product at a very reasonable price. Definitely five stars for this item.Update 08.11.23Another failing of this product is the fact that the Responsorial Psalm only appears on one page. This wasn’t a problem today or yesterday, but on Thursday last week, when the Psalm ran over onto a second page, there was no response printed on the second page of the psalm. If you are not blessed with a particularly good memory, and the response is not one of the very well known ones, it means you have to keep turning the page back to the response in order to recite it. I find that annoying as I can’t turn the page back quick enough. My last missal which had a soft cover ( and which seems to have vanished into thin air, had the response on both pages. But I still say this is great value for money.Another deficiency is it doesn’t have an index.

Worth waiting for
When the new translation of the Mass was introduced last December, I was given a Christmas present of a new Sunday Missal. However, this left me with the old translation on weekdays. I was somewhat loath to commit myself to the New Daily Missal as it would duplicate with the Sunday Missal and seemed very big indeed. I therefore ordered the new Weekday Missal, published by Collins. This was due for publication at the end of January. At the end of January I was told it would not be available till April, and in April, publication was delayed till the end of June. However, at the end of June it finally arrived and I am delighted with it. It follows the same format as my previous Missal so it is easy for me to use. The single sequence of saints' days, without the special British and Irish ones being relegated to an appendix, is a significant improvement. It does not include the parallel Latin texts as in the CTS version, but personally, I don't miss that; you spend less time turning the pages during the Mass. I have needed to add a few extra markers to find my way through the Eucharistic Prayers but that is a small concession. It is still a large book and I hope the binding will last but I am certainly happy to have only 2,400 pages rather than 3,400. All in all I recommend this Weekday Missal to anyone who likes to follow the Mass during the week.

All good.
A weekday missal is pretty much what it says and I went for the cheapest version available. I don't understand what the "Harry Styles" description is all about ... it's produced by Harper Collins and has a "Revised 2012" date so has all the 2011 changes in it. It came with a cellophane seal around it and was in good condition.I would point out that this version, and the CTS version (I got the Leather bound one), are a bit different .... the CTS has some sections in Latin as well as English and the Proper of Saints and all the different Prefaces and Eucharistic Prayers are in different places. In truth I prefer the layout of this one to the CTS but the CTS leather one has gilt edged pages and feels nicer in the hand (but it's a lot more expensive too)Perfectly well satisfied. Thank you.

The Weekday Missal
The Missal was delivered quickly and well packaged. It was a good price and was exactly as advertised. Any missal takes time to learn the layout, but having said that, the layout is clear and reasonably easy to follow. I am sure it will be servicable for a number of years and I am very pleased with it.

Great Daily Missal Updated and Relevant For Today's Use!
This book is quite a hefty tome but it was what I was looking for when I wanted an update to my old version that predated the many recent Pope Benedict instructed changes to the Creed among other prayers. The print is small but thankfully still legible for these 50-year old eyes. This includes all the daily readings and the proper of the saints all in a well bounded book with 4 ribbon page markers. My only gripe is that I would have prefered at least a couple more ribbons but otherwise there is little to complain about. I am pleased with this purchase which I envision myself using for years to come.Recommended!

Weekday Missal received propmptly in Doha, Qatar.
It was a surprise for me that i received the book almost within the anticipated time. There was no hidden cost debited to my Credit card for this book. I am glad that i received the book without any damage, Finally since it was a christian religious book, i never imagined that i would recieve the book promptly in Doha, Qatar.

Brilliant!
A wonderful hardback book. Considering all that it contains, not too unwieldy, and quite easy to navigate. The four colour coded ribbons are extremely helpful for marking certain parts of the mass or indeed certain parts of the year. All the Saints day masses are gathered together in one section, by date order, and give a brief, illuminating, history of each saint This missal contains all you would ever need to hear a weekday mass, and to fully participate in the mass. Thoroughly recommend it.
