This pen will always work - any surface, any weather, any time…every time.
I can’t brag about these pens enough. Smooth writing without ever blotching. They write on any style paper. I needed to write a quick note and all I had was the remnant of label paper - the slick, almost greasy backing, but this pen didn’t miss a beat. It was legible and didn’t smear. Can write vertically or upside down without stalling. Thick barrel provides good grip. They aren’t the least expensive, but you get what you pay for. In this case, an excellent quality, dependable pen that will always write the first time, whenever you need it to.

Been using this pen for many years. Thought I lost it and ordered another. Now I have 2. Love it

Great pen, bad finish
I really like the size and weight of this pen, and the large cap/button. My only gripe is the rubberized finish wears off too easily. I'd love to see a version of this pen with an anodized or cerakote black finish instead.

Adore this pen!
I bought my first pen at the Orlando airport while waiting for my flight. I absolutely love space, astronomy, all of it. So, this pen beckoned to me and I had to have it. For years and years, loved using it. I do have Rite in the Rain pens but love this pen so much more. The smooth writing, any angle, ect. Then, a month ago, someone playing around with the pen accidently unscrewed the tip, tiny inner parts scattered. There were only a few parts but since I wasn't there when it happened, it ended up being impossible for me to find the last needed piece the next day (when I was told what happened). So, after a few weeks of crawling on the floor in search of that last missing piece, finally gave up and hunted for the pen on Amazon. I was so excited when I found it on this website! Ordered it, arrived, and this one works just as well as the one I bought in Orlando. LOVE THIS PEN!

Great! Awesome! Terrific! Its My favorite pen!
I love this pen and its the only pen I use at work. I used my last Fisher pen for almost every day at work for over a year and never had to replace the ink cartridge. When I lost it, I really missed it(and was super bummed out) so I ordered a new one immediately.Pros:*The metal clip doesn't break like so many plastic clips do. I can clip it to my shirt or sweat shirt with no worries about the clip breaking. I've had many pens over the years in which clips have broken-- especially those plastic clip gel pens.*It writes on wet/damp paper. I work as a locomotive engineer and have to fill out calendar day forms in the cab of a locomotive. Occasionally the windows have been left open prior to a rain storm and the forms have gotten wet. The Fisher pen was still be able to write on the form. As a matter of fact, it can read on virtually anything, including glass.*Recently I tried out another brand that had a heavy duty clip. I liked the pen but when I got undressed after work I discovered the pen had leaked onto my white t shirt under my sweat shirt. My Fisher pen has never did that.*The pressurized ink means it writes right away whether that is upside down, side ways or on a regular surface. No dry runs or shaking the pen. I can even write on a small piece of paper in the palm of my hand with no problems. In other words, I didn't need a hard surface to write on with this pen.I purchased my first Fisher pen for $25 so I am happy with the price I got here. Its a bargain.Cons:I can't really think of any except that during the course of using the pen for a year the words and the American flag on the pen started rubbing off. I finally just scraped it all off and the pen still looked good.I highly recommend this pen.

Disappointed
Disappointing Quality. The click mechanism is wobbly and is made of cheap looking chrome. I had an older version of this pen but I lost it after having it for many years. The chrome was satin finish and the click mechanism was tight and precise. Sorry Space Pen. This is not a $37.00 pen. More like a $10.00 pen. Yet another product that is worse than the older version.

You can never go wrong with a Fisher Space Pen
If you want a good, quality pen that will last and isn't crazy expensive, then this Fisher Zero Gravity Space Pen is the way to go. I've owned many Fisher Space Pens over the years and have loved them all. I've given many as gifts and the recipients love them too. My girlfriend saw me writing the other day with the chrome Fisher X-750 and she tried it and loved it. Needless to say, that will be the last time I'll ever see that pen. This particular Zero Gravity model is retractable, all black in color, has a black clip, is a tad under five and a half inches long, has a nice texture to it, has more girth than your normal pen and comes with black ink. It also comes in a nice, plastic, flip-top box that you can store it in when you're not using it. The slightly larger girth of the pen makes it more comfortable and easier to handle in a larger hand. As well, the texture of the pen helps keep your hand from sliding down the pen when you've been writing for a little while and your hand is a little sweaty.Like all Fisher Space Pens, this pen's ink is pressurized and thus can continually write upside down, it writes very smoothly, it can write in extreme cold or extreme heat, it will write on glossy or waxy paper when other pens will not, and if you should ever find yourself in space, it will write there too. If you don't like the standard black ink, then you can easily purchase a blue ink refill for this pen right here on Amazon. All in all, definitely a five-star pen.
