Way too small, this might fit a 2 year old
This kits says it is for ages 4 and up. My 8 year old daughter loves playing with a cape so I thought this was a perfect gift. Everything was so tiny, I don't think anyone over age 2 could fit it. The belt wouldn't even fit around my leg it is so small. I have a very sad girl on my hands that she couldn't play with this set.

Couple hours of fun
It was enjoyable for my 4 year old but the outcome doesn’t hold up that long. It’s cutouts attached with small adhesive squares. My husband insisted but next time I think we will just find some scrap fabric and go “old school”

Basically putting stickers on a piece of satiny fabric
Was really excited to do this activity with a special needs student. The cape is very small- best for a 3 year old size. It wasn't the quality that I expected.

Waste of money
Says ages 4+. Belt doesnt even come close to fitting my 4yr old. Of course we didnt open until after the return window and he's not a hqppy camper.

Good Rainy Day Fun
It was a snowy day in April and my 3 year old super hero was bored; I pulled out the Klutz Jr. My Superhero Starter Kit and it bought us 20-30 minutes of entertainment. You get a red cape, a belt, and materials to make one mask (although there are designs, cardboard cutouts and stickers included to make 3 masks). The quality is ok. He was definitely engaged. He could do everything with some supervision, so I feel the age of 4 is spot on. The designs are colorful. It would be really nice to get 3 masks. I think the price is a bit high for one activity, but it's a handy thing to be able to pull out. The leftover materials can be used for other projects. It would be a nice inexpensive birthday party gift at $14.99. The belt was too tight for my 4 year old's waist by 3-4 inches and she is wearing size 4 clothes.

Keep some busy on a rainy day
I picked this up for my daughter who tells me she would like a superhero birthday. The problem is she just had her birthday and doesn't understand that a year is a long time to wait. My four-year-old daughter and I pull the kit out and had a fun time. This is perfect for a day that you're stuck inside of your house. There are enough pieces for at least a couple of kids even though there's only one cape. It's a good thing we have extra cabs around here as well he likes dress up. My children made masks and used the bracelets to defend the world. I'm sure you're glad to know that you're all safe now. It's a pretty good do it yourself activity except that parents need to help with the punching out of the paper pieces. My kids got frustrated at the beginning because they kept ripping things so I decided to punch out all the pieces for them. Patience is a virtue in this house but is also in short supply. Some of the things that it comes to decorate with aren't exactly average superhero items but they work for a young child. Overall I would say it kept them entertained for a good hour or so. The paper bracelets won't last long the cape should so, we added it to the dress up box.
