MerrellMen's Moab 2 Vent Low Rise Hiking Boots

My first pair of trainers brought specifically for walking. Having read positive reviews I decided on these Merrell hiking shoes which are extremely comfortable. I brought a size 0.50 larger than i would normally as this had been recommended and I am pleased I did as it allows for a thicker walking sock.Overall currently very pleased but I have not had them very long so I cannot say how they will wear.

These were bought for my dad who has bunions and wide feet. Bought these as he is on his feet all day and has to walk a lot for his job and has Merrell shows in the same size for winter. Unfortunately these were too narrow. They seemed nice enough otherwise but had to be sent back the same day.

I love Merrell shoes, so this may come across as a biased review, but I love them with good reason as they are superbly comfortable, and at the same time hard-wearing. I have yet to be disappointed with any pair I've bought, and these, my 3rd pair of MOABs, are no exception

My older pair of Moab Vents unfortunately gave out. The replacements are definitely welcome. Inexpensive, with better heel padding and arch support. After a couple of short hikes, they've molded well to my soles and are extremely comfortable. The laces do seem a bit shorter, but long enough.

This must be the 6th pair of Moabs I've owned and I've never looked back, they're just really excellent shoes.

I purchased UK size 8.5 / Euro 43; compared to other footwear in Euro size 43, they fit slightly small. Consider upsizing to Euro 44 if you normally purchase Euro size 43.
