Q: What do yo need to buy with this ie. paper, paint etc.

acrylic paints, a brayer/ink roller, paper - ordinary printer paper works fine to start. That's the basics. Also look at the Gell Press tutorials on YouTube. You might have a look at the Gelli Printing Enthusiasts group on line for inspiration.

Q: is this 12x112 inches as stated on the pack or size printed alongside

I would think that the gel press illustrated is a 12x12 inch but it seems that you can't order that one ,only the sizes described along side. If you want a 12x12 inch one you will have to look elsewhere.

Q: Is this compatible with clear stamping platforms?

Short answer: No - it's too thick. Longer answer: Stamping platforms are designed to be used with clear stamps or rubber stamps with a cushiony backing - neither of which is as thick as the gel plate. To find a gel-type plate to use with a platform, try searching for media plates - the "John Next Door" range has them in several shapes and sizes. To find something to put a gel plate on - try a large acrylic stamping block (or possibly one of your die-cutting plates) .

Q: Does this fit a4 paper

The 12 x 12 won’t fit A4 but any of the smaller sizes will. Hope this helps.
