Perfect for RV!
Update 12/19/20: I’ve used this washer almost every day for a little over 3 months now and wanted to come back and update my review to say it’s still working perfectly and I still highly, highly recommend it, especially for RVers (I traveled over 1100 miles this fall and was so happy not to have to use a public laundromat with the pandemic still going on). As I mentioned in my original review, I attached an old knee high stocking to the end of the drain hose with a rubber band to collect any lint that gets by the lint filter inside the washer and it’s amazing how much lint it’s stops from going into your gray tank! Lint will happen with any kind of washer so this in no way detracts from this machine...just passing on a little trick that has worked well for me. Anyway... I will update as time goes on, but I am still thrilled with this little workhorse! It’s awesome! I just received this little machine yesterday, but have already done 3 loads and am totally in love with it!! I am a full time RVer and had no room in my RV for even a small stackable washer/dryer, leaving me no choice but to either hand wash or trudge to the laundromat lugging a heavy basket, only to find broken machines, machines that were all already in use or ones full of other peoples dog hair and no telling what else. Yuck! Not to mention the time spent hunting quarters. When this little machine arrived, I easily unboxed it (by myself) and carried it into the bathroom. The box itself came with straps around it which made carrying the box super easy, and once unboxed there are indentations on each side of the machine which serve as handles. I found it to be relatively lightweight and easy to pick up and move! Anyway, I set it inside my RV shower (elevated on a plastic coated wire rack to keep the base nice and dry) and it was a perfect fit. The only downsides to this machine are that the drain hose is a bit short as is the electric cord, but I was able to make it work. I didn’t bother with attaching the fill hose, I just used my hand held shower head to fill the washer. I started with a small load of wash rags and cleaning rags just to try things out. My only mistake was that I accidentally included a sponge that was loaded with dish soap and I had to rinse everything several times to get rid of all the suds. Lesson learned! On subsequent loads I found that approximately one tablespoon of HE laundry detergent is the perfect amount to clean the clothes and yet not be overwhelmed by suds. I don’t add fabric softener to my towels and cleaning rags as that lessens their absorbency, but when washing other items, I added about a tablespoon of liquid softener to the rinse. Again, I found that small amount to be perfect. For the rags, I set the spin dryer for about two minutes and they came out almost dry. For a load that contained two heavier polo shirts and several pair of socks, I let them spin for 3 minutes. Again, they came out almost dry. Hung everything up with a small fan blowing on them and everything was completely dry in an hour or so. I also left the lids open on the machine after using so the inside could completely dry then stored it away until my next use inside a small closet. The machine is very quiet, even during the spin cycle. I’m still looking for a better “stand” to elevate it more securely when using inside the bathtub as I want to be sure water from the drain never touches the bottom of the machine, and because it uses a gravity drain, elevating helps ensure the water drains out more efficiently. During my extensive pre-buy research, I had read that some people had issues with these types of machines with lint clogging their drains after a while so to prevent any possibility of that happening in my RV, I attached an old knee high stocking to the end of the drain hose with a rubber band so that all of the discharged water was filtered thru the stocking before going down the drain. It works like a charm. The lint collected in the end of the stocking and was easy to brush off into the trash can once the stocking was dry. There is also a small lint filter inside the machine that helps keep lint from redepositing on your clothes. It can easily be removed for cleaning. I need to look around to see if I can find replacements for this filter as I can see the possibility that it will not last forever. In any case, I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. I can actually say it was fun doing laundry! No, it won’t completely eliminate the occasional use of a laundromat for a large load of heavy towels, a complete sheet set or bulky blankets, but I would say for daily small loads which represent 95% of my laundry, this machine is perfect! Highly recommend!

REVIEW WITH UPDATES
SEVERAL UPDATES AT THE END. So far this thing is fabulous. The first day I got it I used it all day long, load after load after load and it worked wonderfully. The spinner did a far, far better job than I expected! Obviously the clothes are not dry but they don’t have much water left in them (unless it’s like a towel). Very impressed with the spinner. It does get unbalanced sometimes, of course, but you get the hang of it. so far at least this is not been a problem. (Also, I have found that if I press firmly on the lid of the spinner the balance issue often resolves itself.) The tube that comes with it for filling the washing compartment with water is useless (waay too short). But if you get a RinsaRoo you can easily fill it from a shower head or a sink faucet. To rinse: After washing cycle stops, let the dirty water drain out, pull the wet clothes out (then I drop them in the spinner side), l refill the washer with clean water, put the clothes back in, then run it again to rinse. For me, the only downside of this otherwise awesome item is that it drains by gravity. So I don’t know how one would use it if it were not in a bathtub or shower stall. I put mine in the tub for easy drainage. In summary: My clothes get clean. The spinner does a great job. It’s neither loud nor quiet. It is easy to change the length of time for washing, rinsing, and spinning. It needs to be in a tub or shower stall because it drains by gravity. I used a Rinsaroo to fill the washer side. Though my Rinsaroo broke after a few months and now I just use a plastic pitcher. Lastly, overall I’m very happy with my purchase. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and have had no problems. Knock on wood, as I know that returning a large item like this would be a big hassle. And I have never had good experiences having to return things to China. Note, my suggestions re. the spin side. Use the provided white plastic disc in the spinner. Follow the directions (It goes on TOP of the clothes.) Press it down just a little bit onto the wet clothes before spinning. Do not fill to the top with clothes, and do not put one small thing - either seem to cause it to be unbalanced. UPDATE #1: AMZ = AMAZON I bought another washer (gift). It arrived with a LARGE hole in the box, not a good sign. Indeed, the machine received a long crack along the spinner side. :-( AMZ says I'm not eligible for a refund because it is a 3rd party seller. Their 3rd party policy says, "Third-party sellers must either provide a return address within the United States, a prepaid return label, or offer a full refund without requesting the item be returned. If a seller does not offer these methods to return your items, you may file an A-to-z Guarantee claim to seek help with your return." I received no labels. So I can "file a claim" for help with a return. Which would cost MUCH more than I paid for the item. I wrote the company through AMZ's "Problem with order" page, which AMZ said I have to do. AMZ says, "If the seller does not resolve your issue within 48 hours of the first message, you can revisit this page to check if you are eligible to request an A-to-z Guarantee refund." If the company says I have to return it (which would cost MUCH more than I paid for the item), that will be considered 'resolving the issue.' So, I'll be screwed. All I can do is hope the company will reimburse me or send another machine. (Both of which I am sure will not happen.) I will UPDATE this review as things move forward. UPDATE #2: Seller said they would send a replacement and it would arrive 12/08. Today's the 12th, it has not arrived. UPDATE #3: It arrived the 13th. Minor exterior damage (probably from the large hole punched in the box), but it works just fine! The company provided very fast communication (using Amazon's communication platform) and resolved the issue. I am impressed! And I still love mine. UPDATE #4: Pair of underwear fell between the drum & exterior! But a coat hanger resolved getting the item out. Always use the plastic frisbee-thing when spinning! UPDATE #5: Spinner stopped working. I have tried/checked everything imaginable. Even followed a reviewer's advice and took off the back looking for things out of place or damaged. Nothing I can see. Another reviewer suggested letting the interior dry well as water gets in it easily. I left a hair dryer on low and facing the machine interior to dry it well. No luck. *** I'm super sad. *** (I paid $140 for it. Then when I bought one as a gift it was $100. Now it is $62! wth? I got so burned! funny/not funny)

Tiny And Mighty!
I've been washing our laundry by hand for a year now, using a plastic tote in the shower stall, or occassionaly taking big loads to relative's home to use their machines. This mini washer is a game changer! I wasn't sure it would fit in our tiny bathroom but it does! It's surprisingly quiet from other rooms, so the tenants in the units over probably don't notice it much. I was a bit skeptical that it would wash as well as it does. The first day it got here, I put it to the test. Y'all. This thing is amazing! The water came out all dingy and it wasn't dye, so you KNOW it's cleaning well. No need for hot water, either, in fact instructions say don't use hot because it could mess up the machine. Use a tiny amount of detergent. A few people mentioned that it cleans well enough it doesn't leave "smelly pits" which is a concern of mine. Can confirm, the pits are free of funk! :) Rinsing had the same steps as washing, minus the soap. The dryer/spinner part was my favorite. It really does get the clothes almost dry! It was barely damp after being spun. This cuts down on how long I have to leave it on the line outside. Better yet, I can now hang it on a drying rack indoors without worrying about the clothes dripping puddles like when I'd have to hand-wring them. This is a big plus because I live in a place prone to dust storms, and who wants to deal with line drying outdoors when it's raining or in the middle of winter? One thing that surprised me was how light it was. about 20 lbs is what it says in the description. I'm barely above 5 ft and have noodly arms and still could carry it about from room to room easiy when it's empty. Like others have noted, it holds a decent amount of clothes. 1 load in the washer for me could be one of the following: 2 sets of work scrubs/8 regular shirts/2 jeans/2 medium bath towels/1 full-size sheet/about a dozen items of kids' clothes. Another poster mentioned you should be able to see a vortex effect as it washes. The one time I didn't, I had to wash it again. A full load needs to be separated into smaller loads for the spinner to work properly, but it works so quickly it's hardly an issue. And it's a lot of fun to watch the clothes swishing around. Kind of like being in a car wash or watching those "oddly satisfying" cleaning videos. The downsides so far were short-lived. It had a bit of a learning curve. First, to fill it, the hose is long. Turns out I can't use this bathroom sink because the water would come back up the top of the hose instead of pushing up the loop down to the washer. Eventually I just removed the showerhead and stretched the hose to attach it, and that works perfectly because it goes straight down to the washer. A few times, I've gotten distracted and forgotten to swith the setting off of "drain" when I was filling it for a new load. That was annoying but an easy fix. Because the hose to drain the machine works by gravity and is SHORT, I had to get creative and try it a few different ways. Most people set it in their tub, but our shower stall floor is wonky so I've yet to try that. Initially I hooked the machine up in the kitchen, but then I had to drain it into a bucket and carry that to the bathroom to dispose. So I moved it to the bathroom, right next to the toilet. Drain the dirty water into a bucket and dump it into the toilet bowl. Right now the machine sits on the floor but I'd like to get something sturdy to elevate it, so I can skip the bucket step and just drain it directly to the toilet or shower drain. The machine does move a little as it starts up or winds down, so some no-skid stuff might be in order. Also, if you drain it into the bathtub, get something to catch the extra lint because there is some still floating around. Even though it requires all these steps to fill/drain instead of just pushing a button and walking away like the big ones, I think it's worth it compared to doing it all by hand or hauling it every week to a laundromat or a relative's place, especially as an introvert who'd rather stay home, not to mention having to get the little kids ready to go out. The clothes come out clean, it's quick and quiet, and efficient.

Affordable discreet washer for the apartment
Got this because any of the laundromats walking distance of me has understandably closed due to the COVID-19 quarantine. I live in a small studio apartment, I don't have a car and my building doesn't have a washer and dryer. I chose this because it was small, the cheapest of its competitor and the most straight forward to use. Like: -Small -Straight forward to use; plug in and just put in water and detergent -Spinner spins an impressive of water out of clothes -Apartment lease friendly- *technically* not an installed appliance... -Quiet; Spinner is loud and rumbly at first; but becomes quiet hum. Dislike: -Cheap-ish build; knobs easily comes off -Definitely risk of leaking; I have to use it in my shower even though the manual advises not to I've used it a few times and I am satisfied with what I paid for. I put it in my shower, put my clothes in the washer, put the shower head in the washer and fill it with water to the maximum height. Add detergent and turn it on. I wash shirts, jeans, sweaters, undergarments and bath towels. My frustration is that the washer uses gravity to drain. So you need to have the machine elevated higher than the end of the drain tube. I was hoping of just of placing the end of the drain tube in my bucket, but it wasn't draining. I also wasn't paying attention (my fault) and the drain tube fell on the floor and bunch of water spilled all over my bathroom. My solution was to move the washer into my shower every time I use it. Good thing is this is compact and meant to be portable, but the extension chord is too short and my outlet is on the opposite wall so I had to purchase an extension chord. This isn't really the fault of the washer's design/manufacturer, but it is a noticeable inconvenience to move around so much and purchase something extra because of how it drains. I would advise either placing this on a stool when you use it or put it in your shower. Other frustration is the knob for the "Delicate/Standard/Drain" setting comes off easily and you have to find the correct position through trial and error. Overall, I still recommend it. It brings me a peace of mind that now I can wash my clothes. I plan to keep using this even after the quarantine, over time this thing will pay itself with how much I am saving. I will only have to go to the laundromat to clean my linens (whenever the open up again).

DON'T BUY THIS ...read below kind of response you get from the seller Amazon A-Z is not working
The drain hose is only about two fee....very difficult ....the fill hose has no attachment at all. You cannot wash and spin at same time nor can you spin a whole load at once. This is a mean little cleaning machine - I use it for dusty plastic parts
So I know this little washer was never designed for what I use it for, but it sure has worked well for me in my warehouse. Warehouses are dusty and dirty. That is why I keep all the plastic parts we use in covered bins. However, I have some people that work around the warehouse that take the lids off and never put them back on. So now I have small plastic bolts and wing nuts that are dirty and dusty, and they will not assemble easily. So I thought I would give this a shot. I put about 2000 plastic bolts in the wash side with a couple of drops of detergent. Ran it for about 3 minutes. Drained the dirty water and did a rinse. Put it in the spin side for about 1 minute, and clean dry parts. I have had this unit for a year, and if it broke tomorrow I would buy another. I also wash all our shop rags. It gives a really aggressive wash. Our regular clothes washer at home doesn't wash as hard as this thing. I would think for socks, underwear. a single living alone, this is the ticket. The spin cycle works so well that when you take clothes out of it, it is damp, but a real dry damp. No dripping. For the price I don't see how you could go wrong.

Great Buy! I was skeptical but its fantastic!
I LOVE THIS ITEM! After a renovation that left me without hookups for a standard washer amd dryer, I researched small washer dryers that were small enough to pass as allowable by my landlord and big enough to handle actually doing laundry for a family of 4. This little washer is absolutely amazing! Bravo! This little washer gets my laundry cleaner than the laundromat washers. It can handle just about everything EXCEPT comforters, large blankets and shoes, otherwise after much research and a comparing to an equal size dryer to create my own handy dandy set, this washer is worth the buy, coming from a hesitant buyer. Note, if the spinner is loaded unevenly it wont spin correct, just shift the laundry til it evens out and it should spin correctly. Over filling the washer will cause the wash process to be weaker, so its best notnto over fill. I've washed 3 dresses a pair of leggings and a tank top in the same load. I've had no issues with this set up. My set up is not connected directly to a water source, though it can be, I don't mind hand filling, I use a bucket. I bought a shelf separately to complete my set up and allow the washer to easily drain into the bathtub. The set up in my photo cost $450, that includes the washer, extra drain hose (i didn't end up using), dryer, indoor dryer vent package, surge protector (may not be necessary but I use it) and the shelf it sits on. I hope this review is helpful. Washer and dryer on a budget! Update: I have tried multiple times to load the photo of the setup. I purchased, and I just can't get the photo to load, keeps giving me an error message.

Awesome deal on a great little washer!
We bought this washer to replace an apartment sized Haier that had worked for us for 10+ years. This little washer can really hold its own! Gets clothes beautifully clean and the air spinner has the laundry nearly dry after a 5 min cycle. There are some things to know/remember. 1. This is a semi automatic machine-meaning u have to fill and empty it by hand each cycle; its not going to go all the way thru a wash, spin rinse cycle on its own. U fill it, it washes on a (up to)15 min cycle and then u set the machine to drain, fill it for the rinse cycle, set the machine to drain and then put the clothes in the spinner. , personally fill ours w the fill hose from our old machine that attaches to our kitchen sink. This machine comes w a fill hose that -quite honestly- will most likely not fit your faucet. There are a lot of easy options tho: buying the setup for a sink adapter and apartment size washer hose (around $15 and some digging on Amazon for the parts)..a shampoo hose set up that attaches to your faucet..pvc piping connected together and then used as a conduit from sink to machine, etc. We use a 5 gallon bucket to drain. 2. The 'drain' system is based on gravity. The best way to deal with this is to raise the washer instead of having it straight on the floor. The washer itself is not very tall. I'm 5 foot tall and it comes a little higher than my knees. When the washer is flat on the ground, it does not drain. Our set up is- 2 folding single footsteos (avait at Wal-Mart or on Amazon for around $10/ea) and a roll of textured drawer liner to keep thé machine from slipping ($1 at Dollar Tree) , the washer is set up on that and then the drain hose feeds down into a 5 gallon bucket. The machine is very lightweight and can be lifted/tilted easily if need be to get the last bit of water out. 3. There is no dryer - the second basket is an air spinner. It does get the clothes nearly dry. (It honestly does) but there is no hear and u will still have to hang your clothes to dry. The spin dryer needs to be filled as much as it can be for best results. It also has a smaller total capacity than the washer..what works for us is a wash about half the size of a regular washer (water filled about 3/4 of the way on the washer side) ..this gives a good, full spin dry load. 4. The machine is made of plastic- if u use bleach or any heavy solvent it will haze your tank. There is a little extra cost and a bit of work in initial set up (mostly involving a way to fill the machine), but after u are set up, u are good to go. We have been using this machine extensively as our main washer since we got it and so far its great! I kno its too much to hope this lasts as long as our Haier did, but I'm hoping we see at least a couple of years of use out of it. Either way, its basically paid for itself in a matter of weeks. .
