Stop drinking pond water
I don't know why it took me so long to buy one of these. My icky San Jose water tastes as good or better than any bottled water now. I also bought some extra hardware to route some of it to my ice maker. There wasn't enough room under my sink for the 4 gallon tank but I figured out I could drill a hole and route it under the floorboards in the basement after building a little shelf, and that worked. When I first attached the valve on the tank it wasn't tight enough and leaked so I tightened it more but then it broke :( Michelle at ispring was able to send me a replacement valve right away and I was able to finish the installation. Overall, this unit seems legit and it even came with some extra parts which was very welcome. I wasn't sure if I needed the alkaline post filter or not so I just bought it. The water tastes very normal, like something from a nice restaurant or a bottle. My favorite is it has absolutely no smell at all. One other thing that was a little confusing at first is the instructions say to drill a little hole in the sink drain before the p-trap and clamp it with some tape and shove a tube in it. It all made sense, but the idea that I had to drill into my existing plumbing made me nervous. I'm turning into a water snob now, so I think I should probably buy another one for my girlfriend's house.

Arsenic Gone!
I do very few reviews and we buy a ton of stuff off Amazon, but this one deserves noting.Im handy and probably could have installed the 5 phase iSpring system myself, but we opted to have the plumber install it for peace of mind ($800). Waited to use it a while before having water tested. Our well water is at .029 mg/l. for arsenic. Acceptable is .01 mg/l.This system brought our arsenic level down to the same as .000 (zero). We were delighted that this system was the real deal. Plenty of water in tank and very good pressure coming out the special tap. 16 oz in 10 sec (5 sec for one 8oz glass). Filter cost & ease off replacement looks to be normal or better for this type of system (but most likely cheaper than the big name water treatment rentals & they couldn't lower arsenic levels any further than our iSpring 5 phase system). We also anticipated, based on pictures, that the system would take almost our entire undersink storage. We were very pleased that we had much more room left under our double sink cabinet than we thought.Great job iSpring. I highly recommend this product for arsenic removal or other water quality issues.
