Bought this based on the price and good reviews. Some reviews mentioned one of the batteries not working. I got it and tried the first battery…. Worked great and fully charged. Second battery showed no charge. I hoped that a charged would make it work, but it still showed no charge. I got really frustrated and started packing the ratchet to return it. Decided to put the battery in and try again and the charge indicator lights on the tool flashed on and off. I wiggled it around and found that sometimes it worked. I took a close look at the battery contacts and found that some of the plastic from form-molding the battery case was very slightly covering a very small part of one of the battery charge contact plates. So small it was hard to see…. But JUST ENOUGH to limit contact with the tool. I scraped that piece off easily and the battery has worked flawlessly ever since.Maybe since it is a lower costing tool the production quality is slightly less than a more expensive one, but if the only problem with this ratchet was what i had to do to get that battery to work, if there are no more problems, I’ll be VERY pleased with the purchase! Time will tell if the tool lasts, but as of now, even with having to trouble shoot it, i would highly recommend this Aoben power ratchet…and wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.

I had to install running boards on my GLC 43 and video after video I saw people using manual ratchets and it just took forever, however I saw one video where they used a cordless ratchet so a two hour job was reduced to like 40 mins. Ratchet was strong and had enough torque to really get those bolts in there.

I rebuilt my engine with this product alone, after the combo torque driver was found to be obsolete(returned) The actual sockets aren't the highest quality, as one of them cracked apart. Fortunately, I keep a reliable socket set from another brand.

This has been a good pickup. Started to go for milwuakee or one of the better known / more popular brands but this has done the trick, no regrers

Use it daily as a mechanic. We joked about it a lot at first but I have been quite impressed with it for the cost. Decent breakaway torque, battery seems to last long enough to be useful. No complaints yet.

Update: it’s been 2 months and the ratchet stopped working. Two full batteries and it won’t run anymore. Very disappointed in this especially after reaching out for product help and receiving none. It’s good for time to time but definitely not worth it if you use it every single day. Go buy a Hercules ratchet for the same price but you get the 5 year warranty at Harbor Freight.
