Good lens, but compatibility issue with microscope lighting

The lens is excellent giving a broad view of the field. Unfortunately, the OMAX microscope for which I bought this lens does not have a condenser adjustment that allows the full field of this 2x lens to be illuminated. This makes the lens much less useful than it could otherwise be.
