2-Pack Refrigerator Lock (2-Pack, White with Keyed Padlock)

Does the job, we have bought these twice now and provides security.

These are good for the price. The product can be made great with modification. The included (and pre-applied) tape is high-strength, but its just not going to cut it for this purpose. No sticky tape will. I wish they would have no pre-applied it, so that I could have used it for some other purpose. Not a big deal, I still sort of used it. First thing I did was cut out and remove most of the tape. I only left a half inch or so border. I then scored the bare plastic (where the tape is now removed) with a knife. Mark and tape the rectangle where you will be attaching this. Score or scuff it and clean with alcohol pads. Get yourself some 30 minute or longer cure epoxy. Mix it. Fill in the the de-taped and scored space on the pads with epoxy. Peel off the tape label. Press and hold the pad to the surface of the fridge or whatever that you previously marked and taped off. The sticky tape ends up helping because it will hold it in place well while the epoxy dries, and will also prevent it from leaking. Wait the recommend time for cure of epoxy. When cured, these will now (truly) be permanently attached and secure. For the stuff I used, that was 24 hours. Using this method, these are, ugh, never coming off...ever. You can lift the whole mini fridge full of stuff using this product and there is no way these are coming off. The beauty with this product is that if I ever decide to repurpose the fridge and not need to lock it anymore, its not a big deal. The cable part is removable, and only the bases will remain. You can hang a bottle opener or whatever from it. Basically, you really cant go wrong by (truly) permanently installing these. I would buy this again

This actually works! I was skeptical about how the adhesive would hold but it is very secure. I did make sure to clean area very well and gave them 24 hours to set before I put the lock in. Keeping a freezer full of meat safe from door accidentally getting left open.

Overall, these are good. Easy to apply if you follow the included instructions. They keep the fridge and freezers on our food truck shut while we drive, which was why we purchased. The price point of these is better than many very similar ones out there. My only complaint is that these include a very cheap lock. It works...for now...but they feel cheap and like they could break at any time. Thankfully, better locks aren't too expensive whenever I have to replace them. The other pieces of this contraption seem to be sturdy for the long haul though.

I used this to keep a fridge that holds alcohol closed in a communal kitchen. It was easy to attach and stays strong in place.

I was little leary about spending almost $30 for a two pack of what looked like a minimalist locking solution for my freezer. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and weight of these locks. I like that they can't be easily opened or picked like some of the other refrigerator/freezer locks I reviewed. I am pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this product. I bought this to keep my teen from raiding my freezer. So far, so good.

Does what it says, clean the surfaces dry and remember to press hard really hard at the time of first pasting.It wont come off if u try re-attempt to position it differently.Let it settle down for 24 hrs, before using. Solid product.Does what its meant for.Great !

Enfin une vrai fermeture de porte sécurisée. Contrairement au système à câble en acier, celui-ci même en tirant fort sur les bras ne s'ouvre pas puisque le cadenas est solide. Le système a câble s'ouvre facilement sans clef en forçant sur le câble et mon fils handicapé arrivait à vider le frigo piurta't "sécurisé". Depuis l'installation de ce système à bras avec le vrai cadenas, mon fils s'acharne dessus sans réussir à l'ouvrir pour vider le frigo au sol. Les bras sont très épais et costauds, Le système est bien pensé. Les adhésifs sont très puissants également. 1ère photo le système du câble, il est verrouillé par la clef mais mon fils a tiré très fort le câble et l' a ouvert sans tourner la clef 2ème photo les 2 systèmes pour comparatif. Make sure you follow the instructions closely on mounting it and you will not be disappointed. They are very secure and can withstand eve the most enthusiastic intruder. They're also unobtrusive and complimentary to any white surface. We've used one a fridge that occupies a multi usage space and it's been terrific.
