Sol-U-Mel

This works well on so many things, can be diluted for different jobs. Has a strong smell of melaleuca, which I am familiar with, but some people may not be. A tiny bit can go a long way. Great!

I like this product as an air freshener

Sol-U-Mel (the lemon scent) is my favorite Melaleuca product. I really detest the smell of lemon cleaner, so when I found out that this smells nothing like lemon, I was ecstatic. It's pine-y and tea tree/eucalyptus-y, with a slight hint of, maybe, lavender (a guess), but it smells so darn wonderful I just want to roll in it! I haven't even used it on stains yet because I've just enjoyed spraying it around my house. My four year old daughter vomited on the floor in her room 11 months ago (I know because she puked on/ruined her brand new, electronic, Christmas gift), and even though we had the carpet professionally cleaned, it still reeked. The room smelled slightly of puke no matter what I did, but Sol-U-Mel was able to get rid of the nasty vomit smell. My son is potty training and the crotch of his pj's and his bedding always smell slightly of urine after washing. I put some Sol-U-Mel in the wash (along with a pillow that he managed to pee on... he's a weird sleeper!) and it all came out smelling fabulous! I also sprayed the mattress that had some urine spots (because my kids think bed pads are pure evil) and the bed smells so awesome, not a whiff of pee-smell. It also started to take up the yellow spots, but I didn't have time to sit and stain treat the bed, however, just from seeing what it was doing, I believe it will. Seriously, I need a lifetime supply of Sol-U-Mel I love it so much. I honestly use Sol-U-Mel every day! Just last night my husband decided to run the clean cycle on the oven (you know, that thing you're supposed to do when you open all the windows and LEAVE the house? Not that thing you do after 9:00pm when the kids are in bed and it's winter outside) and the whole house smoked up and smelled like a crematorium. After the clean cycle ran, I sprayed Sol-U-Mel around the house, and then again this morning as the burnt smell was still in the air and seemed to have settled on everything, and tonight the house doesn't smell at all like Essence of the Departed. Absolutely love this stuff. I knew Febreze was a joke, but I didn't know of anything better to use, now I feel so enlightened!

I've been using Melaleuca brand products since 2004. Nothing can compare. This product full strength removes paint, gum on carpet, ink, adhesives, smells FABULOUS. I'm so used to this smell it literally means clean to me, I use it on my tile floors, never any residue, the room smells fantastic and you can make at least 4 bottles of product to use on anything. Great deodorizer. Removes pet stains and smells. I use 2oz of this along with 3 others by them and make a gallon of horse fly spray, cheap and it's safe, you can use the same mixture on people, dogs, infants skin. LOVE this stuff and wouldn't want to live without it. Did I say love this stuff!!
