OtterBox Defender Case for iPhone XR, Shockproof, Drop Proof, Ultra-Rugged, Protective Case, 4x Tested to Military Standard, Black

When I upgraded to my iPhone XR, I immediately ordered this case to go on it; no hesitation.I love the otter box defender as it’s so tough, I did zero damage to my old iPhone 8 when it was thrown at a wall in a fit of rage! It’s also been abused at work (industrial maintenance engineer) with chemicals and tools being dropped on it too often for my own comfort. They hold up so well.As for this on the XR, the fit is perfect. I was slightly worried about the home bar being easily accessible but there’s plenty of room and it doesn’t interfere at all. All in, these cases are worth their weight in gold.

I've been using a Defender case on all my iPhones over the years - from when the iPhone 3 first came out. Love the rugged protection and the belt clip which is so convenient. No need to panic if you drop your phone. Note however that this version doesn't have a built-in screen protector. if you want screen protection you'll need to get the Otterbox Alpha Glass separately (which I did and give that 5 stars too. Thank you Otterbox for making such great products!

There are many copies of OtterBox cases but they are no substitute for the real thing. It is larger than most copies and this is reassuring. I have used other cases but they are not robust and the clip often breaks. In the Otterbox the clip is strong and I don't think it will break anytime soon (only time will tell).

Awesome case! I work in construction so am constantly worried about my phone and NEED a good case! This case is really strong, multi layered (but not bulky...perfect size), has a big lip (meaning the screen won’t ever hit the ground and also has dust covers! Would 100% recommend and would 100% buy again!

This is the first time I have bought a case that was not a Griffin case for my phone. I did order a Griffin case initially but it was a terrible fit.This was the next best option and I have really impressed with the case. My only gripe is that it does not come with a screen protector - add one to the spec and this case would be perfect!My OH has the same case for his iPhone 8 and it has been brilliant - he is a builder so needed something rugged and robust to protect his phone on site. This does the job.Definitely recommend!

As a self-diagnosed butterfingered human, this is perfect for me. Had one for my iPhone 6s and the case looks like it has been through hell but the phone is still brand new; so I trust the defender series.I’ve already got use to the extra size, it’s easy to access the sound switch, and charging/audio jack point. Volume and on/off switch work perfectly.

Been using Otterbox Defenders since they first appeared on my iPhones & iPads. Latest versions don’t have a screen protector so I add a decent glass one.Gave them the ultimate test recently. Left phone on car roof and it got run over by several cars. Screen protector badly broken, tyre marks all over the outer rubber case and inner case broken. iPhone survived intact and unmarked. Quick polish and it’s now in a new Otterbox for a few more years service. Nothing beats it.

I recently changed my phone and have always had an otter box case. I was glad to find this one and not disappointed by it. It’s really sturdy but not bulky.
