Young Nails Gel Top Coats & Base Coat - High Gloss Shine, Clear Gel Polish Top Coat, UV & LED, Gel Acrylic Dip Powder Nails

Works well. I’m a hairdresser and color usually stains my nail polish, this product works. I’m able to wear lighter color polish now. It’s easy to apply and lasts until you get it filed off.

Long lasting, great shine overall. Has an inhibition (sticky) layer that needs to be wiped off but using alcohol will work for that. Easy to apply - good consistency. I’ve had it since October 2023 and it’s still good! No leakage from my bottle.

This nail polish has saved my life. I’m a hair stylist and the hair dye always stains my nails. This has been a game changer for me for a few years now. The only top coat I will ever use because no matter how much hair dye gets on my hands and stains my hands it never stains my nails. The quality of it is fantastic as well. It’s a thick great topcoat. I got one bottle probably three years ago and I just now had to buy my second bottle. The photo I have included is my nails about a week in, mind you I have had a full book of clients and my nails haven’t stained one bit. If you are hairstylist, I recommend you run. Don’t walk to get this.

Great for hairstylist!

I didn't purchase this specifically for a gel and a base coat over gel nail polish. I purchased it to use as an adhesive for dip powder. I get tired of all of the steps that dip requires and god forbid you didn't get all the micro hairs off of your nail before you started the process otherwise you'll have lifting out the wazoo. I couldn't handle it anymore, so I asked my nail tech aunt what to use instead of dip powder. She asked why I didn't like it and I explained why. I don't like getting my nails professionally done and she lives in another town and is booked from the beginning of her day to the end plus she does my hair already, I'm not going to take advantage of her and ask her to do my nails as well so I put the stuff on them and I love painting them so theres that too. Anywho, she recommended using dip powder and using a gel cure base coat and gel top coat and so I did. It was so much easier than jut the steps. I was having trouble with the other brand getting thick and gloopy so I asked her what brand she used for her clients in general and this is what she recommended. She turned me. I normally don't like spending so much on nail polish that isn't an indie brand but this is amazing. I will keep using it with my dip nails, cause they look great. Its not as easy to get off though and you have to take the e file or just a regular file to get the dip off of your nails but it also doesn't lift and makes refilling easy too. The top coat is amazing as well cause you cure it for 2 minutes and you have a shine that can't be beat. I get so many compliments on my nails even unpolished becuase of this set.

I can honestly say this top coat works. That being said, it tends to chip easily when used to cap the tips of your nails, which allows for staining in that area, especially from hair color. I took one star off for that reason, because I would expect it to hold up as well as the other Young Nails products I’ve used. For the most part, this top coat allows me to wear light colors that would otherwise be ruined within a day or so of applying them. I have worn ultra pale pinks and light nudes that overall look as fresh and bright weeks later as the first day I did my nails, so I would still buy this again, even with that bothersome chipping. But I’d give 5 stars if that didn’t happen!

Love this product but I am very disappointed that I bought this on sale and THEY sent me the wrong item and when I tried to exchange fur the right product they wouldn’t do it. Had to buy the right product and pay more after they made the mistake!

Best product EVER. As a hairstylist I cannot keep my nails from being stained and this WORKS. I can keep my nails stain free due to this product. It’s shiny, clear, easy to apply, and lasts for weeks! This is a great product. Hairstylist APPROVED

Great gel top coat

This product definitely works. It’s very shiny and indeed is stain proof. We tested it on 3 different stylist who used three different colours. It was also very shiny. However, it does crack. Not sure it’s worth the big price. UPDATE: when it’s cured twice, it doesn’t crack on gel. Great product !
