PACAOEM-GM1416 Interface Replacement for Amplifier in Select 2007-Up GM Vehicles,BLACK

This model number is the correct one for my 2010 Impala with Bose. However, Amazon kept shipping the AOEM-GM1416A which doesn't work. Based on how many Amazon Warehouse returns they have for this, it has happened to others. I got tired of repeated shipments of the wrong item and simply bought one off an auction site that showed the actual item. Boo on Amazon for this.As for the harness, it does its job. It plugs between the harness and stock radio and gives you RCA outputs and a turn on line power for your amplifier. I did notice a slight distortion in my radio, but it is not noticeable unless you are looking for a difference in sound, such as I was after installation.Good product, just Amazon may disappoint you when you order this model.

Pac makes a great product. Their website makes it easy to get the exact part for your application. The price from this seller at Amazon.com was the best I could find on-line. The installation instructions, however, were a bit confusing. Fortunately, I was able to call their 800 number and while I was in my car with the dash apart and the factory radio exposed, get help directly. Ten minutes with the technician and the confusion was cleared up. Remember, if you want help from a tech, you need to be in your vehicle during the installation process to give them information about your specific application and you must call between their business hours.

Worked really well. For the first time I wanted to leave the factory deck in my new Silverado because it had all the features. I've always ran higher in sound quality systems so I was worried about pairing this up with some type r components and alpine type r 10 running off two Boston amps. I was surprised though at the sound and it seemed to keep the levels in check throughout the volume range.

It didn't work for a Chevy impala 2013 with Bose. They sent me the 1416a

I purchased this Harness/LOC to install a new Kicker Key 200.4 amplifier to my factory Chevrolet Traverse . I could not get this harness to work in any possible way. No matter how I tried to get this harness to work with my new Amplifier setup . Every time the amplifier detected an error ( detecting a short. I finally gave up and spliced the factory harness in order to get my new Kicker Key Amplifier to work. My new amplifier now works awesome, No thanks to this waste of money.

Great price. Plug and play with my wifes 2007 impala with the normal factory radio. Was able to hook up my amp and 12in sub easy

if you know your stuff, it is an easy install. if you are trying to figure it out for the first time you need more than the enclosed directions.

Works as it should

I like how easy it was to install, but when I installed it the radio kept cutting out and not working. After awhile of messing around I found that the factory zip ties in the harness were too tight and damaged and kept contacting each other causing it to ground out. Once I taped them up it quit cutting out. The connector that goes to the radio off the harness was slightly loose so I put some pieces of electrical tape around it to snug it in there and it worked fine after that.

This let me add my 10” kicker sub and boss amp to my factory GMC, easy installation.

Perfect fit, be sure to press good and hard to ensure proper connection. Worked very well

Buzzing in rear speakers after install. Ordered gm1416. Recieved gm1416A.
