Yes you can there are 3 stereo input and there's Extra AUX input.

Yes. You can select any combination of the inputs. If monitoring more than one, their relative levels are controlled at the source.

Do I need a extra mixer with this?

Hello, just like the other responses, it all depends on your setup and what you need. This is a monitor controller to be able to quickly switch between input sources and send to different speakers (or output sources). For example if you want to route the main output mix of your DAW to a pair of your main monitoring speakers and be able to switch the monitors to a 2nd pair of speakers for comparison. You can also have 4 headphones attached to monitor a cue or any input source. This makes things easier so you don't need to patch/unpatch cables every time you want to hear your mix on a different set of speakers or listen to different input sources. You also have an output that you can dedicate to a sub speaker. You can also connect an ipod to one of the inputs so you can compare (A/B) your favorite mixes. As far as a separate mixer- if you're using a DAW like Studio One then you don't need one since the software has a virtual mixer. Only reason you may need one is if you need additional inputs. The Monitor Station also has a built-in talkback mic so you can easily communicate with the musician/vocalist in the booth. Hope all this info helps

Will this work with the apogee duet for mac?

This device can work with any audio interface that has stereo main audio outputs. The main outputs from the interface connect to the main left and right inputs of the PreSonus Monitor-Station V2 to control and switch between multiple pairs of monitor speakers and up to four headphone outputs.
