What better way to teach about the world of books than this book! Detective dog Ken and it's adventures provide a glimpse of library, neighbourhood and the world around. Clear and attractive illustrations work well to retain the attention and interests of children till the end. It has become one of our favorite all time books for evening story telling sessions.

I have bought many Julia Donaldson books for my children and they have all been fantastic. This book is no exception, it's one of my favourites from her collection. Such a great story, lovely rhyming words which are easy to read and great illustrations. It is a decent sized book too, so I would recommend for toddlers aged 3+ who can stay focused for a bit longer. Lovely book!
