Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital 45mm 1:1.8 Black

I didnt jump onto the DSLR band wagon primarily because I wanted a camera kit that wasnt ponderously heavy and could be used easily for my amateur photography. Even though I have the kit lens and a zoom lens, I find myself slapping on the 45mm lens and using it for 95% of my snaps. Its compact and light but packs a deceptively mighty punch and lets you take some fabulous shots in low light conditions. There really isnt anything that I dont like about this little gem.

Cheapest portrait lens from olympus Mft is costlier than dslr/apsc counterparts but size is very essential to me. Don't want to carry a huge dslr for show off. A camera shouldn't come in way of my normal life Coming to lens extremely sharp, slight cooler tones with panasonic G5 I think panasonic gets its colour correct with panasonic lenses 20mm 1.7 is superb on panasonic body.

I got this for around 18k during the diwali sale..The sharpness of this lens is unbelievable..And low light performance is extremly good..Although 45mm keeps you pretty far from the subject..Amazing for street potraits and closed room potraits..The price is justified for the quality in every way

sono riuscito a farci delle foto alle 20,30 di sera a tutta apertura e sembrava mezzogiorno per quanto fosse luminoso ad 1,8 di apertura diaframma o iris - Anche se è di marca Olympus io lo uso con la lumix Panasonic e tutto va alla grande compreso l'autofocus - riesce a fare un ottimo Boke ovvero sfocatura dello sfondo dietro il soggetto fotografato nei ritratti - è molto piccolo ed anche perfetto oltre che per i ritratti (diventa sulle quattro terzi un 90 millimetri puro) ecco è ottimo anche per le foto street view . Spero che Olympus o Panasonic facciano anche un duplicator di focale per aumentare il range ritrattistico ma anche così è perfetto .

Es buenísima la calidad de imagen, el bokeh cremoso separa bien los planos, enfoque rápido. Lo recomiendo bastante. Dejo 2 fotos de ejemplo.

I purchased this lens about 6 month ago. all the photos look amazing. As it an autofocus, I can ask anyone to take a photo for me with out worries about blur face, it's work great, no problem, shipping arrived as per expected, sealed, no damage. Don't hesitate.

This is a great little lens that suits my OLY E-PL10 perfectly. Pros + Tiny! EPL-10 with this 45mm lens on fits in my winter jacket pocket + Sharp images with good contrast + Does well in low light scenarios + FAST and SILENT focusing :) + Bokeh is soft and appealing. Bokeh balls from lights are round without soft edges. Cons - A little soft at F1.8, but that is expected +/- This depends on you use case, but I find the 45mm length a bit situational. My 25mm still sits on the camera 80% of the time.
