DVD drive works fine on desktop and laptop with USB 2.0 and usb3.0 ports. I'm attaching some screenshot of DVD features.

Performs as expected... 4 stars because of TWO reasons:1) it is USB 2.0 compliant, indicating, to my mind at least, that it is perhaps, an old(er) version being sold in India. The speed gap between usb 2.0 and 3.0, is nearly 10x after all... So makes a hell of a difference. But heck!, it's the only, nearly pocket sized, slim-n-sexy dvd burner available at that price point in India at least.2) IF (& only if) you have an old computer, even the bundled dual-point usb cable will not be able to provide sufficient power, resulting in painfully slow disc burns. Sample this... With a direct plugin to an old computer's two usb ports using the bundled dual plug usb cable, a 7.4 gb, DL (double layered) dvd takes nearly 24 hrs to burn. The SAME job gets done in approx a little over 1.5 hrs when you use a powered usb hub in between your old computer and this burner!!!-------I tried the direct usb way earlier, only to "burn up the burner itself"! Amazon was kind to replace it though the standard 10 days of usage rule had passed.Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you wish to burn discs, which are great for archival.

Its compactness. So far working well both on window 10 & 11Worth its value of price.

this was supposed to work directly by plugging on TV, but in both my sony TV this is not even recognized.total waste of money as i have bought because this was supposed work in TV as claimed

Look - Good, Convinience of usage - Easy, quality of product - the player reads files almost instantly. the positive reviews read for this products were actually true. the Product was packed well. It has a cable, few brochures and the acual player itself foiled packed then product box packed further packed by Amazon. the player played CD's of different types, it also played not original CD's. The player connects through USB and cannot be connected through power as mentioned in the product write up.One suggestion to the manufacturer - Make it power enabled and have longer cables. it will be very useful to the buyer.it is a product brand worth considering if you are looking for a player.Trascent brand name has perhaps nailed it through this product.

Writing Speed is Very Poor. Earlier I have used it .Writing speed is very slow, earlier it used to take less than half an hour, now it takes one and a half hour. Earlier it used to come with double wire, now it has been made single wire, perhaps because of that the writer is getting less speed. Maybe because of that it is getting power work. which is very bad performance.
