Excellent vegan cheese with some caveats...READ if you want to use for pizza!
At this point, this is really the only mass-produced vegan cheese that I would eat raw (most of them are inedible raw!) - it is amazing in salads (like caprese), on crackers or bread, and I love to just mix it with fresh tomatoes, fresh basil, avocado, and add a little EVOO, salt, and pepper. However, if you plan on using this for pizza, here are some caveats and tricks - so this cheese does not melt like regular mozzarella, nor is it very stretchy. It is also VERY difficult to shred because it is so soft. It also doesn't like super high temperatures - like those in an actual pizza oven...so here are some things you can do to make things easier:1. Freeze it and shred it frozen - it is really the only way to shred it without making a mess - it also allows the cheese to withstand the heat a little better2. Coat frozen shredded cheese in a light coating of avocado oil - this will help it melt and spread more like you're used to. You can also spray the top of the pizza with avocado oil after the cheese is on the pizza, too.3. It also works well mixed with other vegan cheeses - specifically VioLife and the latest version of Daiya. This creates a lot more texture and varies the flavor a bit - it also adds more stretchiness.I hope that helps!Overall, I do love this cheese, but it is better used in raw dishes.

SO GOOD
I was hesitant to try this as I was really disappointed with the slices after they hit shelves again. I’m glad I did though because this cheese is delicious! Texture and flavor are spot on. I’ve been slicing it off the block and eating it straight :)

Addictingly delicious
It's really hard to find good vegan cheese. This is some of the best vegan cheese I've ever found. This is wayyyyy better than Daiya brand which tastes like nothing. The taste and texture are perfect. It really does taste like mozzarella. There's no cashew taste or funky after taste (unlike their cream cheese). I've been thinking about it all day.

Can make delicious pizza with this! Or Bruschetta
Want to preface: I had to stop eating dairy for over a year while recovering from Autoimmune symptoms. This cheese isn’t the meltiest, but it is a lot better, healthier, and tastier than other cheese replacements/substitutes. Miyokos mozzarella is actually my favorite to use when making autoimmune protocol foods (if you know what that’s about you know the ingredients have to ACTUALLY BE HEALTHY and good quality). It didn’t fully melt when I made oven baked pizza (with siete brand tortilla as the pizza dough) but it tasted amazing and had a soft consistency while warmed up. Most cheese subs are literally worse than eating GMOs but Miyokos and Kite Hill are ones you can trust - then it’s just a matter of taste

Melts just like a dairy mozzarella!
There are some pretty gross vegan cheeses out there but this is definitely NOT one of them. This mozzarella is delicious and melts beautifully. I use it in lasagna, on sandwiches and it's perfect for charcuterie boards.

Not worth $8
The flavor is good but the texture is disappointing given the price. It's not really any better than daiya or follow your heart brand. It's too soft for grating. I tried to grate on pizza and it turns to mash. Worked well in my cheese grits but not for pizza.

but it does spread out and get super creamy. It is pricey but the quality is ...
This vegan mozzarella has been a giant game changer! It is so creamy and has a mild taste that is close enough to mozzarella to make me not miss the "real" stuff at all, but delicious as it's own type of cheese as well. I have used this to make pizza and even my non-vegan husband really loves this stuff! It doesn't melt exactly in the same way that "real" cheese does, in that it doesn't get stretchy.. but it does spread out and get super creamy. It is pricey but the quality is there. I buy a few at a time and freeze them otherwise they mold quickly after opening, but keep in mind that defrosting changes the texture a bit and makes it more crumbly. I don't find that it changes the taste or how it melts in any way, though. Eventually I want to make my own vegan mozzarella but this is the best current substitute that I've found so far, with Violife being a very close 2nd.
