The BEST crutch tips you'll buy
I've been buying Fetterman crutch tips for close to 20 years now. They're simply the most comfortable, grippiest, and longest lasting tip you'll find. I've been walking on crutches for the overwhelming majority of my life (35+ years). I bought titanium Fetterman LiteStix crutches back in 2005 and have been more than satisfied with them, the tips, and the handles. I'm very active (for being physically disabled and on crutches), work a full time retail/healthcare job, and hike occasionally - A set of these tips lasts me about a year and half. The cheap crutch tips you buy from a drug store would last me about 6 weeks. I've used both the Tornado tips and the Performance GT tips; I prefer the Tornado as they're smaller and lighter which I find suits my walking and activity better. I'm glad Fetterman is now selling these on Amazon so more people can see and experience them. They're more expensive than the competition but worth the price in every way possible.

Quality Product adds more confidence.
These crutch tips have made a nice improvement to my husbands daily activities. Before the Fetterman Tornado Gel Tips, we replaces crutch tips every 6-8 weeks, the regular, gray tips from the rare to find drug store. Here are the Pros:*they last for a LONG TIME with proper care. Just like you rotate your tires, or switch out shoes, we turn his tips a 1/4 turn every Sunday evening.*they really do grip the surface applied.*we can order here on Amazon and have them delivered* the gel, and design has reduced the impact (like a shock absorber) when his crutch tip strikes the ground. The Cons:*They’re a wee bit heavy. Nothing that can distract the user, but just a noticeable difference to quickly get used too.* as mentioned above, for dedicated Left side, Right side crutches, they really should be rotated. We highly recommend this to get the most mileage out if your sneakers, I mean crutches.FOOTNOTE:***my husband has an unusual gait, specific to his needs growing up with CP. one crutch tip strikes the ground at approximately a 30° angle. THESE tips meet that challenge and we feel give him more confidence to walk head up and forward more so then always looking down to see where they land. He absolutely has less slips, and falls since using these. We are dedicated to the brand. When dealing with a chronic life challenge, it’s the little things, victories that can add ease to your daily life.We receive that here.

The best crutch tips EVER
If you're dependent on crutches, you need these. Don't let the cost scare you off. These are extremely durable and wear very well. Was going through a set of tips every couple weeks or less. These last close to a year. Well worth it. Great in wet conditions and outdoors. Try these. You will not regret it. ( Forearm crutches user for 8years now.)

The best crutch tips I have ever used!
Love these crutch tips. I purchased these in November 2022. Here is a photo of them in April 2023. I have walked through mud, beach sand, wet slippery tile floors, 2ft deep snow, wood floors, carpeted floors, greasy floors, pebble gravel, rocks, and more. They have hardly worn! I have great footing with them. Any other crutch tip would be in shreds by now. I LOVE THEM. Thank Tom for creating a safe, lasting, durable crutch tip! The gel does lessen shock on your shoulders!

Worth every penny of the asking price.
These tips are worth every penny of the asking price! I couldn't believe how much of a difference they made on my canes and I plan to get some for my son's canes as well. I did have to soak them in hot water to get them to go on a cane with a 1" shaft but once installed they absorb all the shock thats created when they hit the ground and my hand no longer aches from it on long walks. If you have arthritis in your hands, and using your cane makes it flare up, you owe it to yourself to give these a try before you pitch your old cane in the trash.

Use With Caution
These appeared to be really good sturdy replacement tips for my crutches that I use 24/7 to walk, due to a neuromuscular disease. However, these tips have slipped on several different surfaces. My original crutch tips performed better, too bad they wore out. I do think these tips will last a very long time due to quality material and construction.

The best cane/crutch tips ever!
Because of my disability, I bear a lot of weight on my cane and after 25 years I've literally bought a freaking dump truck load full of tips! The cheap Wal-mart tips blow out (the cane comes out the bottom of the tip) right away and sometimes I would go through as many as three sets a day) but Fetterman tips are a Godsend! I started using Tornado tips four years ago and one set of tips (the standard tornado, not gel) will last over a year before finally getting smooth and could possibly go forever with out ever blowing out. The gel tips are even better! The first set I purchased are still good after two years! I bought another set for an additional cane I like to keep in the car. I've also found that I have a lot less elbow and shoulder pain with the gel tips as they really do a great job as cushioning the shock of the cane hitting the ground. In my opinion, you cant find a better set of tips! WELL WORTH THE PRICE!!!!

An excellent investment to prevent falls
I have used forearm crutches for nine years and have tried various tips. These so far are the best. The rubber grips very well and the flexibility allows the entire bottom of the tip to make contact with the ground, not just the edge. This significantly increases the contact area, increasing traction and reducing the chance of slipping. The rubber also cushions the impact of the crutches with the ground. Yes, they cost more than other tips. But the benefits far outweigh the price.UPDATE:After six months of heavy use, they still show no wear! The best possible crutch tip for both safety and durability.
