Shock Absorber Ultimate Run Sports Bra

Absolutely brilliant bra, especially for women who feel very conscious about themselves whilst exercising such as myself. Being on the plus side this bra has given me the confidence to run and lose weight without worry. This keeps the girls in place, reduces bounce by a large amount, and so worth the investment. This bra is very comfortable, the strap adjustment design in fantastic, it can make your shoulders ache after prolonged use a little at first but just readjust until find the right length for you! The breathable material reduces that uncomfortable sweaty feeling that you get in most other bras, the Cross back design helps to keep everything in place. The only thing I would say is it can be difficult to put on, but after a bit of practice it’s worth it. This bra has changed my life.

I can see why it's called Ultimate Run Bra, because once you've tried it, nothing else compares. Best run bra I have ever tried/used. It fits extremely snuggly, but once your girls are strapped in there, they are going nowhere! 😁 No rubbing, no chaffing, and no jiggling, I feel so much more confident road running when I'm wearing this bra. I love it so much I have purchased it in seven different colourways. Now THAT is testament to how fabulous it is!And I love that it is available in an excellent range of cup sizes AND back sizes, says the girl with the small back but big cups 😉.

I bought this for my wife, she really likes it. It has a good range of adjustment in the shoulder straps and normal bra-type hook-and-eye system at the back. It holds everything down nicely, according to the label reducing bounce by 78%! It is lined with a soft smooth material which reduces chaffing, she finds it very comfortable and is very happy with it. She likes the fact you can get it in normal bra sizes for a good fit.

I'm read the reviews about how small the band on this bra fit. But, my typical size of 30E was £10 cheaper than the other sizes. So, I thought that SURELY it can't be THAT small. Anyways - I like a more snuggly fit bra and sometimes even wear a 28F! Boy - was I wrong!Like others have said - the band is ridiculously undersized for the size stated. I actually COULD get the bra hooked on the last hook - but it took a heck of a lot of muscle and if I were to attempt a run, I'd probably collapse because breathing wouldn't be an option.It was so tiny that I exchanged for 2 band sizes up, 2 cup sizes down - so a 30E to a 34D. It's a massive improvement! I can very easily hook this one on the smallest hook, so I likely should have gone with a 32DD, instead. But, it feels secure enough and it's not as if I have a massive chest to support.All in all, now that I've found a more appropriate size - I'm happy with my purchase. It seems like a quality item and although I haven't taken it for a run so to speak, I think it will keep everything where it needs to be. Just don't be a fool like me and ignore all the reviews that say this thing runs SMALL!

I must first say that I have a love/hate relationship with Shock Absorber bras generally. I hate them because I don't find their "compression fit" very comfortable. I have decent sized boobs & they just squash everything into your body which I don't like. However I have to admit they work in terms of stopping boobs bouncing around so to that extent I am growing to love them & I now own this bra in 3 different colourways.I really didn't like the first of these bras when it arrived. As well as the usual "squash factor" it's 2nd fastening is a plastic clip affair like you would find on a swim suit located so high between the shoulder blades its almost impossible to fasten. ( and you can't front fasten and swivel) However I decided to try it out and I must say it does work well which encouraged me to order again in this blue & yellow & later in pink & purple.As always with shock absorber the fit on back size is small so think about going up a size on that- cup size is fine though, it's supposed to fit tight, that is how it works.Regarding comfort I am in 2 minds- it's tight, you will notice when you put it on & it won't feel comfortable. But once you are wearing it and while running you just won't notice it. In short it is comfortable to run in which is pretty much the pointSo I have grown to love these bras, slowly!Hope that helps x

The band is way too small! The fit is definitely smaller than normal UK bra sizing. I will be returning because of the misfit, but I do notice that the lining looks quite flimsy. The straps and the rest of the bra look really solid, though.

This is an absolute must have for a runner. I tried different brands and styles, but keep coming back to Shock Absorber. I was running in 34C and after mastectomy reduced to cup A. It worked perfectly for both sizes. No issues on half marathon race, great support. Reflective elements in grey-pink look HOT in the dark!
