Sturdy, solid, secure. Doesnt seem easily chewed because of the design and material. its not cheap plastic, it closer toa fake rock type of plastic? Screw-in and nib to secure the chew is metal. Opening allows large or small chews, or even a long chew secured in the middle. My dog uses her paws to hold the holder so she can hold the chew in place easier, so it definitely feels like an easier time for her, too. I feel safe enough with this that i dont worry about chews anymore, and its nice not to constantly look over to see if her chew is too small or a choke risk. I throw the final ends of the chew out, not worth keeping when theyre that small.

After a few uses it’s stuck and can’t be used. My dogs haven’t chewed it like I saw in another review, it’s just not a durable product. EDIT: Soon after this review the owner contacted me and offered me a replacement which I accepted. I initially bought 2 given I have 2 dogs, and the 1 replacement is better than the first batch I received. I use them once to twice a week, and have two springer spaniels who are tough chewers. I haven’t had any issues with the replacement and would buy another if it broke. I now only clean them in hot water and allow to FULLY dry before putting back together (typically when I put in the bully stick). I don’t really know if cleaning methods make a difference but I’ve been more considerate after my first one was jammed. I wasn't asked to update my review which I appreciated, and is the main reason that I’m doing so now.

Perfetto per cani un po' frettolosi che tendono a ingoiare più che masticare. Sconsigliato per cani possessivi, un pezzetto resta nel dispositivo e potrebbero non essere inclini a lasciarlo più.
