DVD player worked great kids loved it in the car good product for a great price

Edit- nice picture, fanatastic sound, but there is a spec of no color on screen that really drives me nuts, but doesn't seem to bother my daughter. Nice packaging, came protected with bubble wrap. Our daughter asked for this for Christmas! This is going to be to the best christmas present for our daughter who is 10. We lose power alot out here , so this will be great for those power outages for the kiddos! I thought they sent me the wrong one until my husband pointed out that they measure corner to corner parallel not across. It's only 10 inches across..which is honestly the best for little ones hands. You don't want something to big for them to carry around.

Has good sound and decent picture quality. The battery costume to last 5 or 6 hours. I charged it fully and my daughter couldn't make it through one full length movie before it died. Had to plug it into car charger to watch. Easy to use.

I purchased this DVD player instead of a tv for my three year olds room. I decided this was a safer and more convenient option due to I can control what she is watching without being concerned she's on the Internet. The battery life lasts till she is asleep. The DVD player can be brought into the vehicle, Dr appointments or just at home. It has good quality and has made it through a three year old carrying it around so made very well. Portable is always a nice and convenient option with kids.

I purchased the iegeek portable DVD player, for my 98 yr old father, to make watching videos easy for him. I purchased mine on June 4th 2023. It had a 1 year warranty from time of purchase. Everything was good, with picture, features, ease of use, and my dad really liked it. However, in January '24, my father said the picture was off, and the controls did not work...Playing a DVD, the screen, looked like a "negative" image seen in a photo. I reached out to Customer service, asking how to reset the player, or any other way to fix this. I received an email reply the next day, asking me to send a short video of the problems, along with purchase receipt and date. After two days, I received another email, and was told that the technicians said, it was faulty within the screen itself, and couldn't be repaired. They then said they would send me another new DVD player, to replace this faulty one, s&h paid by them. I was so grateful and thankful for this very friendly and expedient customer service, to replace the defective dvd player. This is a good product, but rest assured, if anything goes wrong, they go above and beyond to fix the problem and give complete Customer Satisfaction. I shall definitly buy from this company again. Thank you iegeek representatives.

I was sent someone's return item. No power cord or remote and the manual was written on. The dvd play didn't even come in it's box it was just loose in the shipped box. Replacement has been ordered. I'll write another review on that one. Edited-got my replacement dvd player. Came sealed in it's own box with the remote and all it's cords including the power cord. Used it today and it works like a dream. The Screen is large and the sound is great. Definitely worth the price. I originally gave this review 1 star but I'm upgrading to 5 since this product is everything I needed it to be once I got the replacement. *Update-after 3 years my device has stopped working properly. It only loads the disk and then states there is no disc. Doesn't matter the DVD used (at first thought it had to do with the DVDs region) but nothing works now and it worked the previous day. Time for a new one. Updating review since I think it should have lasted longer than 3 years but perhaps that's just me. Wanted to share my experience in case it helps.

After a year of use and experiencing a few issues, I felt compelled to leave a review on this product because I encountered some of the most amazing customer service. First, the item works amazing for what we purchased for, which was a cross-country trip so that our toddle could watch her favorite shows. I purchased a holder to set it up on the back of the front passenger headrest. It was the perfect size for the car, as it did not impede any views while I was driving. The player itself has a bit of a motor sound when running that could be considered annoying by most adults and teens. However, for a toddler it is not noticeable. The sound also will not go very loud, but again it was just loud enough for a toddler to listen to it in the car, without it being overly annoying to a driver. However, if the whole car wants to listen, there is an outgoing AV plug. You can connect this to your vehicle AV in the vehicle and the entire car can listen to the dialog. During some of the more boring parts of my drive through the cornfields where radio was nonexistent, this was useful as I could listen to a few Disney movies. The dvds are set to autoplay on the machine and if you shut it off, get out of the car and get back in later, all you need to do is switch it on and it will start playing from exactly the same place when you turned it off. This was a time saver. For the few instances the dvd was over and I needed to restart it while in the front seat, the remote was useful and worked even from behind the machine. There is a caveat----you must always keep it plugged into the cigarette lighter in the backseat if you are driving a lot. If you don't have one in the backseat, then you may run into issues. The battery doesn't last very long (maybe 1-2hrs tops). After a year of use almost daily while running errands and one cross country trip, the screen has held up for a toddler kicking it and smacking it many times. No cracks or scratches. I started encountering issues only just recently. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon and they were able to walk me through problem solving that got it working ok again. I appreciate that they stand behind their product and wanted to make it right! I actually paid $20 more than the current price for this ($80). So if you are on the fence about whether to buy it for a young child or cross country trip, go for it! It was worth every penny of the peace and quiet you will receive while driving.
