They are not floating shelves, they have robe screwed to the wall with the screws visible.

Nice looking shelves. Very sturdy and lightweight. They fit perfectly in the space I got them for.

These shelves are great. We purchased for our 15 year old and he was able to put them up himself. Very easy installation and perfect for awards and random things for him to grab and go.
