Such a great solution for covering old/damaged meter boxes. Super easy to fit and look great. Replacing an internal broken box is difficult and costly. These fit over the top of existing, door hanging can be switched quickly and easily. Used a drill and saw to cut the apertures for the wires and pipes, you don’t need to be a DIY expert. Did both gas and electric in an hour, would recommend.

Really easy to fit, they have designated areas underneath to cut out for services and the doors can be handed left or right. Unfortunately they have the effect of making everyone else's look tatty😄, oh well.

These are good quality, made from recyclable material. Very easy to fit, comes with a card & link to written & video instructions. Hung both & sealed with silicone(not supplied) in just under an hour. Arrived as advised.

Looks good now it’s fitted even though there were no fitting instructions!!! All we had were two meter box covers and nothing else

Good product easy to install but measure both of your meter boxes as these are both the same size and I only measured my electricity box only to find my gas one is bigger when I came to fit so I had to cut the old gas box Down bit difficult but manageable. They really look great tho. Other thing to mention is you will need a long drill bit for marking out the positions for drilling your walls

Contrary to what some people suggest in other reviews, piece of cake to fit. Looks very tidy as well. Should be a suggestion when fitting for a gas meter that a vent/drop hole is added to the bottom in case there's a gas leak in the meter box. Hard to see why the cost is what it is, but there again I am the one who paid for it.

Fitted these and you really need a long series drill bit to make life very easy which I went and ordered. There is not much room for error when drilling the wall to align the holes up.I only used 4 screws to fix them to the wall. I took off the old door to one of the boxes, the other one fell off ages ago, because a pin worked loose and damaged the fixing hole.Good product, lets see what British Gas say when they come around to check on the meters in the next few years.
