⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible Quality and Reliability — Perfect for Creators!
I’ve been using the DJI Osmo Action 5 for a few weeks now, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The video quality is stunning — crisp 4K footage with vibrant colors and excellent stabilization, even when I’m hiking or recording from my drone setup. The horizon balancing is buttery smooth and gives everything a cinematic feel. Battery life is also impressive for how powerful this camera is. I can record multiple clips throughout the day without constantly worrying about charging. The touchscreen is bright and responsive, even under direct sunlight, and the magnetic quick-release system makes it super easy to switch mounts or angles in seconds. I’ve used other action cameras before, but this one stands out for its rugged build and smart design. It’s waterproof right out of the box, so no extra case needed for my beach or rainy-day shots. Overall, if you’re a content creator, traveler, or just want a reliable camera to capture life’s best moments, the DJI Osmo Action 5 is absolutely worth it. DJI really nailed it with this one.

Superior camera quality
Fell in love with this camera. Picture quality is top tier and the audio is also great. It came with all the accessories listed. The picture and video are easy to access from the app on your phone. It’s smaller than I imagined.

Awesome Camera
I have owned several GoPro‘s and this package at this price point is definitely a better bang for your buck. There is very minimal differences between us and the GoPro, I actually prefer the quality of the action five over the GoPro when it comes to post production. this is way easier to transfer to a PC, the GoPro always has transfer issues, but this one is seamless

Deceptive marketing on add-ons, camera is great though
Camera is great - all the add ons are boo-boo garbage. Batteries and SDcard are off brand and quality of all the attachments is markedly worse than the included branded products (which is what I assumed everything would be) Camera is easy to setup, zoom isn’t great but that’s fine, brightness looks good

Competent Hardware Ruined by a Terrible Company and Software
First and last DJI product I ever purchase. Let's start: 1. Updates typically break something on the camera or app. This in turn requires time to "find a solution", patch, and repeat. 2. They have downgraded the device via firmware patch. The have made the rocksteady image a lower quality that does not stabilize as much. The only reason I bought this was better stabilization than the Go Pro Hero 7. Now it is worse. 3. The device requires activated. Yes. Before you can use the device you have to go through a lengthy process to activate it which requires setting up a DJI account. 4. Requires too many permissions. To connect the camera to your phone you have to give the app access to location, bluetooth, and wifi. This in turn renders your phone unable to connect to the internet since the camera uses it. You do not have an option. If you wanna use bluetooth OR wifi you're out of luck since it requires both. So just a short scenario for the above point: you took a nice video you want to share on the social media of your choice. Turn on wifi. Turn on bluetooth. Turn on location. HOPE that the app finds your camera as it is notoriously unreliable, then HOPE that after the app finds it it can actually connect. From there you have to use the obtuse DJI app that never let's you know of transfer has started to your phone because of how buggy it is. Now after all that you then get to go back through, turn off wifi, turn off bluetooth, and turn off location. I wish I was making this up but sadly I'm not. The Osmo Action and the Mimo app that is required is a prime example of one of two things: 1. Someone with an idea of a product but zero idea on how to do it. 2. Someone wants to gain access to as much as your device as possible to mine all the information they can. And let's face it, DJI has been around long enough to know the game so let's guess which scenario is more likely.

Set Temperature Threshold To HIGH To Avoid Camera Shutdown Due To Over Temps Of Camera.
This is my second DJI Osmo Action cam. I've been using the DJI Osmo Action since May 2020 to make videos to post on a popular internet website. I shoot in 4K and render the videos at 1080 HD quality. This allows me to zoom in during post production and still maintain the quality of the video. This summer my cameras experienced shut downs due to the camera "overheating". I never experienced this before this summer. Fortunately, I got that worked out with the help of an Amazon Live broadcast. I performed a factory reset of both my DJI Osmo cameras so I could set them up the same and help the video look the same from both cameras. Unfortunately, I did not change the Temperature Threshold setting after I performed the factory reset. If you use the camera outside during hot weather, you may need to change the Temperature Threshold to "HIGH". The default setting is low. Pros: Great Price Great video quality A lot of functionality and a Great Price Cons: A little bit of a learning curve to get the camera set up Batteries are expensive Instead of purchasing a battery and charger from DJI, look at buying an Anker PowerCore Speed 20000. DJI battery cost $30 and holds 1300mAh of juice. At $60, the Anker PowerCore has 15 times the power at twice the cost. You can plug the Anker into the charger port on the camera and run until your memory card is full.
