After using the NatureHike Ultralight Packable Pack and being really happy with it, I decided to try their laptop backpack to upgrade from my current office commuting bag. So far I’m REALLY happy with the purchase. FIRST IMPRESSION Out of the box, the ‘black’ bag is more of a really dark charcoal (which I prefer to straight black) and has a really cool and subtle ripstop texture. I was pleasantly surprised to feel how strong the material and stitching felt. Especially for a bag at this price point. WEIGHT, SIZE, AND DURABILITY A good sweet spot. It’s not an ultralight pack, but it’s not over-built either. Easily fits my laptop, a few pens, headphones, charger, notepad, water bottle, and umbrella/rain jacket, with room to spare for an extra sweater or textbook. There’s just enough padding for wearable comfort and for me to feel like my laptop is safe, but not so much that the pack is overly bulky. It really feels like a solid bag that will last. COMFORT AND FIT Nothing notable about fit or comfort here. There’s a reasonably generous amount of padding in the shoulder straps to help with comfort and some padding on the back panel. Thus far, I haven’t noticed any particular discomforts from wearing the pack. I’m happy so far! POCKETS AND FEATURES I prefer ‘simplistic yet functional’ styled pockets and features and this pack definitely falls in this category. The computer sleeve perfectly fits my MacBook. There are well-placed and non-bulky pockets for pens, wallet, chargers, etc. but not so much that the number of pockets is overwhelming. There are two external side pockets that hold a water bottle and my coffee mug fairly snug. A Nalgene fits perfectly tight in the side pocket. At first I was worried that the side pockets weren’t deep enough to hold these, but I haven’t had anything fall out yet so I’m not sure that this is problematic. When wearing the pack, the bottom of the shoulder strap kind of ‘hugs’ the side pocket, which seems to help keep things in place (you can kind of see this from my pictures). That said, smaller items (wallet, phone, etc.) fit perfectly in the side pockets and feel really secure. There is a small USB and headphone port in each side pocket which is a REALLY nice feature if you’re commuting and want to keep your electronics in your bag but still have access to headphones or charging. One thing I really like is the back panel pocket that runs the length of the pack. At times when my rain jacket was a bit damp and I didn’t want to put in in the main pack, I was able to fold it into the back panel pocket to protect my other items from getting wet. My only recommendation for change is for the two inside mesh pockets, as they are a bit skinny. Great place for extra pens/pencils/highlighters, but too snug for larger sunglasses or cell phone. I would have preferred one large mesh pocket vs. two skinny mesh pockets to add to the versatility of that pocket, but I haven’t noticed this to be a problem yet. Last, I also LOVE the zipper design. The three zippers took a touch getting used to at first, but I love having both top-access and front-access. I can use top-access to drop something in the pack quickly and easily without opening everything up, and using the front access zipper really opens things up so I can see and organize what I need. CONCLUSION This pack is simple, professional, functional, and seemingly durable. And especially at this price point, I don’t think you can go wrong. I am certainly happy with my purchase and would easily buy it again without reservation.

En general es muy buen producto, no dí las 5 estrellas porque pesa considerablemente más de lo que esperaba fuera de eso la calidad y confección que tiene son altas y eso es axcelente.

Light. Comfortable to wear for long hikes. Would prefer some more large pockets, now I use bags to keep things separated. Good price. Quality seems reasonable, but we'll know in a year or two.

I used this Fanny Pack during my 2020 Thru Hike of the Appalachian Trail. This essentially replaced my purse/wallet. I loved being able to have all of my most important items (phone, ID, credit cards, battery pack lighter, multi-tool, buff and emergency snackies) right there with me. It allowed me to be able to drop my heavy pack and set up camp, get water, or just walk around knowing that everything important was still on my body. It is water resistant, but by the end of my hike the resistant liner was peeling out of the bag. Honestly, when hiking in the rain everything gets wet eventually, but this did a decent job of keeping things inside dryish. Keep in mind, I used this pack from Feb - Sept everyday. I put this bag through a lot of wear and tear, and I was impressed with how well it held up. At the end of my hike, I decided to throw it away, since it looked a little ragged at that point, but I intend to purchase another one.
